  • The fact the Cardinal in this show is the evil character makes me think that this tv show is trying to portray catholicism negatively.

  • So they added 2 extra musketeers for this show?

  • @Soldier0Cross well it's the original three, and they counted D'artagnan as the fourth. Then there's Albert of course :) I'm pretty sure thats how they got 5.

  • @xxTeresa22 That's kinda obvious.

  • whenever i used to watch this, it always made me hungry for spagettii

  • @espirima Wow!

  • I watched this when i was like 8, oh my god... the memories.... i love this...

  • God, I've had that song stuck in my head for 12 years

  • this show was the shit. i miss it. we need a teletoon retro but for shows from the nineties.

  • O...M...G...

I honestly thought I'd never see this again! Suddenly I'm 6 years old once more!

90's was really the best for cartoons, and I'm saying that out of nostalgia really. Today's stuff is so watered down because they're terrified they'll offend someone. No robots, no playful violence, no satire of any kind, no accents, no creativity allowed whatsoever.

It's as if animators have forgotten how to connect to children.

At least we got it while it was good!

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies Absolutely spot on!

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies I agree with you, but children of the 80's probably said something similar about cartoons of the 90's. ):

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies Its sad really but yeah and isnt it funny how watching things like this on youtube you remember the who better like. Now I remember the woman in the green dress had a talking duck tattoo

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies Dude, 90s cartoons were OK, but NOTHING can ever match the greatness of 80s cartoons!!!

  • Does anyone have an MP3 of this??

  • used to watch this all the time on ABC Kids... I loved singing along to that theme tune; very catchy!

  • I loved this! I had it on video :D

He's sharp, he's cool, he rides on a mule!

  • this was my favourite show when i was 5, I loved it so much!

  • i used to love this show sooo much!

  • Omg so awesome :D

  • Many a happy half-hour in front of the telly with this... Classic, or rather classique!

  • One of my most favourite TV shows ever! I loved this one.

  • Best theme tune ever.

  • omg this programme was amazing!!!!!!!!

  • Ah, the memories. I mainly loved it because , aside from the humor, it helped me feel better about being short in stature, both Albert and Madeline (another petite French character) did that.

The theme is one of the songs I tend to whistle or hum when walking around the house.

One of my fave jokes has to be...

Anne: I wonder where the Eight Musketeers got to...

Albert (or someone else): There are only four of the Three Musketeers, your majesty.

  • omg i remember watching this on abc kids
