i think this was a decent video for basic school supplies for basic courses. i used to go to staples for back to school supplies when i was in middle and high school when my parents paid for my supplies. but being an independent university student, i shop where the prices are best and not all at one store. you actually can save more money by shopping at more than one store. this video was just to show that when buying just the basics/cheap brands you can save a lot of money.

it honestly depennds where, when you shop, and also how picky your kid is. For examples, some girls want sparkly pink stuff and some guys want just plain stuff..

1. a graphing calculator- about 80$

2. a scientific calculator - about 5-10$

So yeah high school supplies are more expensive than middle school and elementary school.
