I think the reason the Megaman games on Nintendo was better because he was a big fan of Nintendo with the exception of the Legends series which was fantastic. It could also be why Megaman Legends 3 is a Nintendo 3ds exclusive because he may actually like Nintendo better than any other console.

They wouldnt. there is no "Beta"ing robots here. The same way Protoman is a prototype and will always be one. Zero never interacted with anyone in the classic series except for Wily himself during construction.

Capcom's had a history of making every other mmx game terrible since x5. x4: great (a bit easy though), x5: decent except that countdown crap and the fact you don't know which bonus part you're getting until two countdowns later, x6: good except ground scaravich stage, x7: completely awful, x8: fixed the mistakes of x7 but added bosses being invincible during 'super attacks'. Based on history, X9 would probably suck.

If you get the alternate ending at the end of x5 you see zero seals himself away for around 100 years, so in x6+ im guessing that would be a copy later being omega OR the copy was the one that was sealed away and the real one became omega
The series continues threw X 8 but if you beat X6 as Zero you see the ending that starts MegaMan Zero So in tecnicality The series ends in x 8 possibly 9 and ends at X 6 at the same tim.

Model A stands for Albert, not Axl, they might have the same personality and style of fighting, but Capcom didn't officially confirm that Model A was Axl. So, for now, he is not.

X6's Zero Ending is nothing more than a distant event in the X series, which means that it didn't happen directly after X6, but rather at the end of Elf Wars when Zero decided to seal himself forever tp prevent more violence.
X did not die in Megaman Zero 2. Merely the body. The spirit was still alive. Who do you think gave Zero the Z-Saber in MMZ? X had to seal the Dark Elf away using his body after the ending of the Elf Wars but his body was destroyed by Elpis in MMZ2.

Again, no. It has been stated in an OFFICIAL INTERVIEW with Inafune (the CREATOR of Mega Man) that Zero doesn't kill anyone from the classic series. It "isn't in his nature". Zero was only a rebel, not a Maverick, when he started off. Sigma, when he was a Maverick Hunter, was told to capture and contain Zero due to his nature.

Never told I don't appreciate the classic Megaman Series, until 2day, I play them, but, release this kind of game, nowadays is something that I don't agree, they have the potencial, but they don't have the will, and, like I said, on the Nintendo's time, the Megaman' series really were a masterpiece, made with the full potencial they had!
I don't mean to fan the flames, but Megaman 9 was made based on the requests of many fans. We wanted it, they made it, we're buying it. Many of Capcom's dubious 3D titles can't make that claim.
Is it graphically inferior? Depends how you define inferiority. It's not as technologically advanced as modern games, but it's supposed to be a testament to the classic Megaman titles.
And it's not nostalgia that gives it it's appeal, because we've been playing the old games consistently ever since.

Actually Bass was in Mega Man 7 first and also in Mega Man 8 and Mega Man and Bass which most people confused with being Mega Man 9 when its really Mega Man 8.5 it even had two of the bosses from Mega Man 8 and the final Wily battle was exactly the same as in Mega Man 8
zero in the X and Z series not in the old original ones so of course he not going to be in same goes with Bass he's in the battle network series. so you'll nvr see them in the same series. but i could be wrong

Quint appeared in an Alternate Timeline, of which Mega Man was captured, and converted to a Wily Number. But we are going by the Regular Mega Man Canon, thus making Quint Irrelevant. and the Only "Future Mega" Is Mega Man X... Either Classic Mega will be converted to X, or he'll be Replaced by X.

@aznguyjimmy you dont want x9, you'd want x10. Capcom's had a history of making every other mmx game terrible since x5. x4: great (a bit easy though), x5: decent except that countdown crap and the fact you don't know which bonus part you're getting until two countdowns later, x6: good except ground scaravich stage, x7: completely awful, x8: fixed the mistakes of x7 but added bosses being invincible during 'super attacks'. Based on history, X9 would probably suck.

If you get the alternate ending at the end of x5 you see zero seals himself away for around 100 years, so in x6+ im guessing that would be a copy later being omega OR the copy was the one that was sealed away and the real one became omega

The series continues threw X 8 but if you beat X6 as Zero you see the ending that starts MegaMan Zero So in tecnicality The series ends in x 8 possibly 9 and ends at X 6 at the same tim.
We all know both Thomas Light and Wily created both X and Zero officialy MegaMan Power Fighters 2 Wily shows Bass the blue prints of Zero, Zeros energy system is based on Bass's and possily created anothr energy ource at the same time this the Zero virus. I think MEgaMAn 9 begins the whole Maverick thing

Model A stands for Albert, not Axl, they might have the same personality and style of fighting, but Capcom didn't officially confirm that Model A was Axl. So, for now, he is not.

X6's Zero Ending is nothing more than a distant event in the X series, which means that it didn't happen directly after X6, but rather at the end of Elf Wars when Zero decided to seal himself forever tp prevent more violence.

X did not die in Megaman Zero 2. Merely the body. The spirit was still alive. Who do you think gave Zero the Z-Saber in MMZ? X had to seal the Dark Elf away using his body after the ending of the Elf Wars but his body was destroyed by Elpis in MMZ2.

Also, Sure we did! his limitless potential isnt just some laser beam that insta kills or something, it is his ever growing power, and his adaptability. like Scarface said. 'That rat, X... He gains new powers as he fights..." in game, for the sake of gameplay, X starts out the same every game. story wise though, he is most definitely stronger in say- Command Mission, then he was in X1. Plus, it also refers to his ability to grow mentally, and worry deeply.

Proto Man:Dies from his energy defect
Bass: Get's owned by Proto-Zero, or go Maverick.
Light: Dies from sickness
Wily:Dies from old age
Mega Man (in 21XX): Comes out of nowhere and owns the shit out of X.

Again, no. It has been stated in an OFFICIAL INTERVIEW with Inafune (the CREATOR of Mega Man) that Zero doesn't kill anyone from the classic series. It "isn't in his nature". Zero was only a rebel, not a Maverick, when he started off. Sigma, when he was a Maverick Hunter, was told to capture and contain Zero due to his nature.
Zero was not the first Maverick, as seen in the game Mega Man Maverick Hunter X.

That actually proves very little.
When subduing Zero, Sigma was ALREADY a Maverick Hunter. Mavericks must exist before you can make a team for hunting them. If Zero was the first Maverick, then there would've been no Hunter's to specialise in taking them down.

In order for Zero to have been the very first Maverick, he would've had to be the first the reploids would've encountered.
That would mean there would've been no Maverick Hunter's to even get the job to subdue Zero.
The Maverick Hunter HQ wouldn't even exist.
Zero was a Maverick who infected Sigma with the Zero/Wily Virus.
Mavericks are only called Mavericks due to their choice to be, well, maverick. Not because of a virus.

You're both right kind of, Mavericks are any robot that goes against the societies set rules. Zero was the first Maverick that was encountered that could effect other Reploids and turn them Maverick due to the virus. Zero being made specifically to be that way by Dr. Wily can attribute to him being the "first Maverick".

As far as I remember, MM9 does not bridge the gap. There is no mention of Zero, at all, in this title.
More or less, as stated by Inafune, Zero will not/does not kill the original Mega Man.
Zero will most likely team up with Mega, and Mega will eventually die due to expiration, becoming obsolete (as Zero was in MMZ).

Okay, first of all, Mega Man and Proto Man were both made by Dr. Light/Right. They both have expriation dates like any other robot of that era.
Zero was built by Dr. Wily, not a virus. The virus was contained within Zero, and infected Sigma as seen in MMX4.
MMZ was created by Intecreates, thus, Inafune, thus, is canon. MMZ takes place after the end of MMX5, the last game by Inafune in the X series.
Axl isn't canon to the series, the biometal from MMZXA is not based on him.

"Expiration" in the Mega Man universe meant they would be scrapped on a certain date. That's why Light's Robot Masters went "wily" on everyone. All they wanted to have was apurpose in the world. Wily convinced some to uprise against their superiors and fight back before being scrapped.

I don't mean to fan the flames, but Megaman 9 was made based on the requests of many fans. We wanted it, they made it, we're buying it. Many of Capcom's dubious 3D titles can't make that claim.
Is it graphically inferior? Depends how you define inferiority. It's not as technologically advanced as modern games, but it's supposed to be a testament to the classic Megaman titles.
And it's not nostalgia that gives it it's appeal, because we've been playing the old games consistently ever since.

Actually Bass was in Mega Man 7 first and also in Mega Man 8 and Mega Man and Bass which most people confused with being Mega Man 9 when its really Mega Man 8.5 it even had two of the bosses from Mega Man 8 and the final Wily battle was exactly the same as in Mega Man 8

Quint appeared in an Alternate Timeline, of which Mega Man was captured, and converted to a Wily Number. But we are going by the Regular Mega Man Canon, thus making Quint Irrelevant. and the Only "Future Mega" Is Mega Man X... Either Classic Mega will be converted to X, or he'll be Replaced by X.
