Hey i have a guestions if u get the rpm rear step bumper can u put a wheelie bar on it?..... also another way to keep your bulkheads it tact is buy rpm bulkhead braces that will work too.

I have an E-Maxx brushless edition, with a castle link, I just don't know how the link works.

You plug the link into the receiver lead to the ESC, and the other end into a USB port on your computer. Download the Castle link software from castle creations' web site. Program away.

you should do a how to paint the bodies video! i know there is a few out there but they are confusing as hell. I just tried painting a body before i realized you need to paint the inside of the body. lol

hey mempey i have the brusless erevo as well and i have had it for maybe a week and a hlaf and i have already gone through like 3 packs of half shafts. would u recommend by the steel axles from traxxas or is the a different brand that sells steel axles that are better.

Well here is the thing, if you put steel shafts in it, all of that force has to go somewhere. It will most likely end up in your rear differential and strip the gears. It is easier to change the shafts. I had that problem also and put the Traxxas Steel CVD's in it. Then I started having to change out gears in the rear diff. I got sick of doing that so I started taking it easy on the take offs, I also set my throttle curve to a less aggressive start up. also, take it easy on the trigger.

@mempey ya thats wat i try and do like i was at the track yesterday and i didnt break anything until the last race i was at but its all good beucase i have the parts. but i try to take it easy so i dont break them. like wat i found that worked good for me is always having your finger a little bit on the throttle that way it doesnt put as much stress on it wen u floor it.

You can make it so that it does not tear the gears when you punch the throttle. You can make adjustments on breaking, and accelerating.

Yeah, I have a Revo 3.3 body for mine. I had to take the fin off but it fits fine.

I cut a slot in the chassis to slide the strap through.

Hey Mempy, I just got my E-maxx and I just bought a MMM 2200kv combo, but I was wondering have you ever heard of the RPM True-Track for the E-Maxx? It includes 2 knuckles, both Left/Right side A-Arms and it does away with the weak Traxxas turnbuckles. Plus the Lower arms are way wider. I see you have the hollow-tubes but, the Truye-Track will make it handle like a E-Revo! They also make a True-track for the E-Revo. But for 2 knuckles, 4 arms for only like $35.00 is crazy cheap! Thanks man!

I put the true track on my E-Revo and didn't like it at all. It is good if you race on dirt, but other than that I couldn't stand it. Whenever I did a wheelie, it would ride up on one wheel and then cartwheel like crazy. i would stick to the normal arms.

I just set them in there and put a velcro strap around them.

Google, "waterproof vinyl sticker paper" It's the first hit. You print your image out and cut it. That simple.

Try loosening the spur slipper clutch. That could be the problem. Other than that, I'm not sure.

Hey nice rigs! Did you ever try or seen the new max amps green series there Lithium iron phosphate battery which differs from Lipo for being more safe tell me if you think they would be good

Thanks! I have seen those batteries, they look really cool. MaxAmps are great batteries, but are expensive. I have had some in the past. Lipos are dangerous if you are not careful, I have had a fire before, in the back of my GMC! If the lifepo are safer, that's great. I think they perform the same as lipo, but I don't know a whole lot about them.

The "green" stuff from MaxAmps are LiFe, thus 3.3V per cell....(Lipo 3.7v) thats the only but BIG disadvantage of LiFe

Yes, it might be in the Revo 3.3 parts list though. I know for sure that Traxxas makes one. You might be able to even find an off brand one.

Put some of those black clips on the shocks right above the spring, or get some white Traxxas springs. i did both, it makes it stiffer.

the turnigy batteries your using so where do you buy them at hobbyking is it a safe site to buy stuff at?

I was at race track yesterday so I want it to go faster I want to race so I'm gona buy two 6s batteries and the ezrun 150a 8xl for my e-maxx and I need 6s.

Yeah, just make sure the batteries that you order have a count of at least 50 to 75 in stock. If not you might wait until they get them back in stock. But you can have them e-mail you when they get more in.. I didn't have any trouble ordering mine. They are unreal batteries. I know a lot of people that use them with little or no issues. You should have them delivered to a place that you know someone will be there, they might have to sign for the international shipment.

Oh yeah, the wire is plenty long enough.. About 6 or 8 inches I think.

I changed a few weeks ago. Having trouble with the radio system, but it will be fixed by the end of the week. I was just ready for something different. This way I can run either one or two of the same battery in all three of my trucks. Makes things easy. Good luck with the Rit project. Although you didn't have to order it, they sell it everywhere.

hmm

my maxx suffers a problem: it turns/swerves by itself when i accellerate or brake. its not the servos as theyre nearly new and dont buzz, theres steering play, but less than there used to be, there doesnt appear to be any binding. im lost! and its very annoying because i can no longer drive onraod without severe difficulty or just crashing it...
