Well, if it's a NYC truck, i wouldn't mind seeing it lost, they buy loadmaster trucks :D and would probably end up buying another then

Eject the load!
Firies then can put it out when it's on the ground. They can't put it out when it's still in the truck.
A clean up crew can get in there, load the rubbish into skips, mess gone by the end of the day.
clean up will cost a heap less than to repair a burnt out compactor and there is no down time
I have ejected 2 hot loads onto the road and would'nt think twice about doing it agian if the extinguiser can't put it out.

ejecting the loadis very costly,but if that were to happen to me ,id worry about the price to replace the truck that is far more then 10 thousand dollar clean up bill
