you should check out nikkimae. She has THICK hair and she is light skin and she is VERY popular. Also naturallycandi has thick hair too. But yeah I know what you mean. Tumblr is so unrealistic to a lot of black afro textured naturals. It's all proud half indian chicks and mixed girls, not enough thick naturals like me!
There are so many people here on YT who have greater than 4a hair and they seem to get ALOT of traffic. AfricanExport, blackonyxx, forseenatural, thegoodhairblog, etc. Ive noticed people who are likeable get the traffic, beautiful hair is relative.
Yea, they be so lame with their, "yea, I am 3c and I am so happy", really?? What?? 3c is a badge of honor?? I been stopped , early on in my hair revolution, going on the boards and the mix looking girls... It's sad that women are stupid enough to follow behind women who don't have their same hair texture. Yea, self hate at its best... I like my nappy ass hair... I do not support these mixed women giving natural hair advice...
im so glad i finaly stop by a video where someone actualy speaks out about this issue- especially since last year when the natural hair crazy hit hollywood i myself have always noticed that holllywood or hair porn have always defined natural in a sense of softer and looser curls making it seem like more course African American hair wasn't s beautiful which i find the companies to be a bit when talking about natural black care
THIS BABY NEEDS SELF ESTEEM. EVERY VIDEO YOU HAVE HAS ISSUES WITH SOMETHING. ITS EITHER YOU,BLACK PEOPLE OR YOUR HAIR. SWEETIE TAKE TIME OFF OF YOUTUBE AND FIND YOU
I love your hair. I just recently removed my videos because I didn't have much traffic I have curly hair but I guess I didn't attract the viewers. I believe that a lot of people go natural for different reasons. You have very beautiful hair and you should do more product reviews you can make a difference. It isn't about everyone it is about you and loving yourself and hair. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Take care and do You.
the Bantu knot out is cute on you ... && my bf got 4b hair and im in love with it , it makes me mad , how ppl is supposed to b having a Natural Hair community & and its like competing of the hair textures , i love all types of hair . If we supposed to b a natural hair community " family , lets grow together blah blah " than why are we discriminating . this is some bull , uugghh . Keep doing your thing hun .
I'm so glad I've found your channel because I've been trying to find channels with videos about fine/thin 4b/c hair for the longest. I feel like FINALLY I've found my hair twin on youtube.
continued.. I think the reason why you haven't been seeing much people on here with 4b hair is because most of us like myself just don't know what to do with it. I don't want to go natural and have it look like a disaster. So straightening seems like a better option. So please, continue with your videos. I will definitely subscribe. :)
Kinks.. I think you should definitely stay with it! I am going natural and have two inches of un-permed growth. I understand totally what you mean when you say that your hair is thin. I have the same problem as well. I have just recently discovered my hair texture from a website listen on You Tube. My hair, even when natural at the roots still looks straight, I mean, it's like it not really curly. To be continued... :)
well i went to school with a girl who was mixed and she said she wanted hair like mine. My natural hair is very tightly curled. I guess it doesnt matter what kind of "good hair" you have, some peple are going to want it
First off.your hair is gorgeous, second off I have 4b/4c hair and I see alot of support online, and I would not have made it pass 1 month natural if online 4b naturals didnt show me the way to care for my hair. I cant wait for my hair to get your lenght and keep my texture, its just so versitile.
My hair like yours does not have a lot of density and the strands are fine. I use to get frustrated as well but now when I view natural hair channels and want to try a style I like, I just adjust it to suit my hair needs. Be encouraged.
Some of these natural hair community folks are NUTS........lmao I really truly wonder if Youtube, the internet, kim love or ANY natural hair guru existed, how many African American women would actually crack a BOOK to do some research on their own hair.
I have 4z hair and it irks me really because there's nothing out there to educate my hair texture. Of course not everyone can be satisfied 100%. I've always been natural (never had a perm or color) and growing up I never had so much information available. I hardly ever see videos of ppl with 4z hair on youtube
@Kinsgalore I just watched a vid by NikkiiDior called "Natural hair community my ass". I encourage you to watch it because it seems she has similar frustrations coming from the opposite end of the spectrum. It just goes to show you that we all have our own cross to bear.
I wish more 4B people would post more various textures. I believe most fantasize about having Tracy Ellis Ross hair. It's nice to see a video ddone with class, for a change.
yes i completely agree! im a 3b/3c hair type but for some reason i always watch type 4 hair vids along with other curly types. i LOVE your hair, ithink its ridiculous the way society gets crazed over multiracial people/hair. ideal with it daily at school, & its annoying. we should all embrace each other and shine the light on 4 hair types! seriously! dont feel left out we're all natural & all curly girls, all love xo
I hope things have gotten better because I have found some wonderful channels with our fine, thin, kinky hair. My hair is awesome. Fine hair sisters must gain the confidence to keep posting. I will start posting some and I hope that it help. The loose hair well one day we will get there. I finally love my hair.
i am 4a texture, my daughter is 3c/4a texture, but i really love all textures, and i've subbed to people with 4a/b/c textures. I dont really sub to people with 3b/c hair. however i am relaxed but stretching, and my daughter is natural. I think 4b/c hair give me more hope. You have lovely hair, and i've subbed to your chanel. i think you're the most striaght up YT'er! go girl:-)
I have a giant folder of natural hair pictures. I only collect pictures of 4a/b and c. I have a mix of 4a/b and I love to find other women with similar textures. Self-hate is why people seek out youtubers with looser textures and ignore hair with smaller curls. It's ironic, because most Black people tend to have type 4 hair! I ignore type 3 channels because they don't really apply to me. Your hair is definitely 'good' because it's healthy and gorgeous!
@ubiquitousfacts LMAOOOOOOO You know, I made a comment JUST like yours on another video. It's true, though. The reason why these 3c/mixed hair girls have so many black female subscribers is because of self hate. And, they have the nerve to wonder why their hair ain't growing long. It's because they're learning to care for their nappy ass 4a/4b hair from somebody who is damn there another race smmfh. And, I'm right there with you. I only subscribe to those with my hair type.
I totally disagree with u. Some of the most popular naturals on utube(Kimmay,Africanexport,Beatifulbrownbaby, etc) are not 3b & 4a types. It's more about what u offer on your channel not your hair type. Rather than thinking you're the "black sheep" try enhancing your channel.
what's with the US and hair types? Seriously in Africa people don't dis each other over hair. It's just hair...people have commented on my hair but not anything major.
I think a lot of people claim to be a certain texture and they treat their hair as if its a certain texture when its not. No one will ever say their hair is just 4b theyll be like "its 4a/4b" of theyll say "4a with a little 3c". I saw someone that clearly had 4b/4c hair but was claiming to have 3c hair and i was so confused. Also, people will try to get more views by making their icon for the video a picture of their hair appearing to be like 3c hair but when you click its 4b type hair.
I think that they get more views because they do more styles and quality videos..I have 4C hair and I'm always looking for a good channel for 4C girls..Most of the 4C girl's channels that I've encounter are not good quality or interesting.. Do more styles and product reviews, I'm sure many ladies like myself will be interested..
@sweettwinky86 ok but these other texture ladies starter of w/ lower quality videos n upgraded. as for styles mstanish1 and SimplYounique has a video listing great 4b/c naturals
(plz don't get offended, i'm being 100 here) i think the main issue is that bcuz everybody KNOWS that no one respects 4B/C/Z naturals, we don't have as many ppl stepping up to the plate to make videos of quality. i will admit that i'm subbed to ppl with 4A to 3C hair, but it's not for lack of trying. with the exception of beautifulbrwnbbydol, the best quality youtubers had looser textures, so those are the ppl i subbed. i would be afraid to make vids, knoing ppl would diss my hair type.
on my old channel, i actually got jumped in taren912's comment box bcuz i said that if u want her hair, u don't want to be black, you want to be mixed (even tho taren's half swedish!! wtf). it's very accurate to say that ppl are trying to live in a fantasy land, and pretend that those loose curls not only exist in the black community, but that that's the TYPICAL texture and the poster child of what black women's hair looks like unmanipulated.
@EbonyEthereal i don't agree... only because I have a sister who has curly jet black hair when short and wavey (more on the straight side) when long. She is a born and bread non bi racial black woman.
My daughter on the other hand has tight curls... really tight and it's thin...it gets thicker with time though and even though it's soft, it can get really tangled. Textures vary even among bi-racial and non bi-racial families.
I'm really digging your channel; it's because of your personality, though. :-) Basic natural hair care is universal like moisturizing and sealing. But techniques to style come into the picture, so naturals may look to those who have similar hair types as theirs. I'm thinking maybe there are more in sheer number 3c or 4a hair types that are natural than there are 4b's or 4c's; maybe? So, what you really are noticing is that 4b/c's are the minority in the community. What do you think, Kinksgalore?
@Tangerinesorbet I agreed! Black people are minorities in a non black world but you still hear and see us. I don't see the 4b/c naturals and I'm sure they would like to be heard.
@Kinksgalore Think of each hair "type" as groups within a group; yet, working as a whole against the mainstream. Just like in the real world, a group supports those within, first. The4b/c naturals will be stronger and larger community itself, in time. Don't worry. :-) The lack or shortage of ones like you has a lot to do with self-acceptance and supporting one another within the group, too. I do hope you don't give up; you are a pioneer to your group.
I love to watch vids from people with all hair types but when im looking for a style to attempt I def put 4b//c/z in the search box. I encourage you to continue doing vids for the ladies that purposefully search out styles, reviews, and tuts on our hair type.
I'm happy to see women on youtube with your hair texture doing video's on youtube. Great job! I forgot to add, I think if there are people with 4b hair with great progress, styliing ideas, tutorials etc that they will get the views. When Sera25 & Rustic Beauty was doing vids(Very long 4b/4c hair) they got a ton of views and had a lot of subcribers.
I know exactly what you mean about the hairboards. I frequent long hair care forum and have noticed that only people with 4a and up hair's pictures are thanked. 4b threads seem to not be commented on as much even though the majority of naturals I see outside have 4b hair. Very strange indeed. God forbid anyone claim 3c that is 4a or 4b, they'll be ripped a new a**hole. Regardless of the propagation of natural hair, I'm under the impression people still secretly covet 2, 3 and mixed type hair.
You should check kimmaytube out if you haven't already. She has 4b hair and she's awesome! Very educated and knows the science behind natural hair. I love her
she is as sweet as she wants to be. She is an advocate of finding confidence in yourself no matter what type of hair you have. She HATES with a passion when people tell her that she has "good hair". She'll shut them down real quick and tell them no, I have HEALTHY hair. Good hair vs bad is not dependant on your hair texture, its dependant on how well you take care of your hair! We just need to stop all of the division period!
help you but then there are those that just think they are all that and a bag of chips, and they may not even have a loser hair texture. They just have a nasty attitude. By the grace of God, I've developed a decerning spirit about people. I compliment them on their hair and I keep it moving if I feel that "vibe" from them. I have a mixture of 4a/4b hair. Thank goodness my best friend has the same hair texture because we help each other out. We are in this together. My cousin has 3c/4a hair and
their regimen will probably not do ANYTHING for me. There is division where ever you go and sadly it is what it is. There are some stupid people in this world. The same people that gloat about their hair texture are the same people that gloat about their college education, their money, their "creme de la creme" life. And I've gotten to a place where I just tune those people out. I learned the hard way that not every body is your "sistah" just because their natural. Some are really nice and will
Girl I've learned that no matter what, there is going to be some type of opposition or negativity in that spectrum. The light skin vs dark skin, the good hair vs bad hair, perm vs relaxers, the educated vs the uneducated, the wealthy vs the rich. There's always going to be that "self proclaimed" upper dog what ever category you're in. I personally don't sub to mixed races channels. Nothing against them AT ALL. I just don't feel the need to sub to them. My hair is totally different from them and
what you're saying is True, Sad but true. I've had moments when i wanted silkier hair, it is what is. we want to fit in, we want our reflection to mirror what is considered beautiful. it's very much a societal problem as opposed to an individual problem
@Kinksgalore spicyeve gets decent views on her channel and she has fine 4b hair, 160days2lose2 also has more than 10, 000 subbies and she has 4b but thick hair. Both of them have short hair but ehy're also very entertaining to watch. I sometimes get the impression that if you have shorter 4b hair then you have to be super entertaining to get people interested.
@cntbeasked Yes, that is what I'm talking about! Spicyeve should have over 10k subbies but she doesn't and has been on yt for a long time. As for 160days she got major support from kimmay not taking anything away from her but that does help to get a shout out from a major yt-er.
I really appreciate you being honest about what is going on...And I hope that you don't let it deter you from being an inspiration to other women out there who feel the same way that you do....If not you then who?
I know you've heard of some of these vloggers. They've all typed themselves as 4b/4c: AfrikanHairGod, tonidaley80, nalia1908, blackhairchronicles....
I'm not saying this in a mean tone, but why are you being discouraged by views?? The reason there aren't alot of vloggers/bloggers with tighter, kinky hair is because no one is taking initiative. You have an audience, so don't worry about "being different". I love your videos. Who cares if they have fewer views than a "3c" hair video?!
@Eliz279009 Yes I know of those yt and I'm not discouraged by views. A vlogger I'm subbed to is deleting her videos/channel in 2 weeks b/c of lack of views and comments.
@Kinksgalore interesting, i went to her channel and she has thousands of views. she's gorgeous and so is her hair. she does not seem to have a problem with gaining traffic to her page. none her videos have less then a couple of thousand views. i'm totally lost as too why she would delete her page
I didn't take it as an attack on bi-racials, I agree with you 100%. I mean, these companies promote their products through woman with 3c-4a hair and people with textures beyond that are not even considered. That makes me upset because I have family members who are 4b and beyond and they are discouraged from going natural! Again, I love the realness of your channel!
Well, I'm of mixed heritage and I love your channel! I am subscribed to women with all types of hair textures. I like the realness of your channel. That's why I subbed!
I understand where you're coming from because I've been looking for videos out there for naturals who have more than one texture of hair and what are they doing to their hair. We all have different textures of hair and products don't work the same for everyone - I think we know that. But there is a audience for 4b/4c, I wish the videos will appear too that discuss about products ect.
@pennyz2cute I agree we all have different hair no matter how similar it looks. I wish more naturals would make videos b/c the natural hair community has a "look" that doesn't represent natural hair for everyone.
yes i totally agree, keep your channel up for me. I have the same hair type. I do not use store products, just shea butter and oils. Nothing works on my hair. So you are a breath of fresh air for me. I love my hair and I need you. So stay strong for people with the less attractive hair. wink wink
Your video moved me to comment :-) Your hair is gorgeous, you're making videos catering for people with your hair type so that is a postive step. I checked bambiix2 and she has videos that have had over 20,000 & 50,000 views. I have 4c hair straight in parts, wiry in others but I watch all the natural videos because there is always a trick/tip to learn regardless of the hair type e.g. the way naptural85 does her twists. I also love BlakIzBeautyful - it is a journey and we need each other!!
Personally I don't use the search because it pulls up the same vids or vloggers. So basically I tend to subscribe to folks based on what my current subscriptions recommend or if they shout out somebody or in some shape or form mention their names
Africanexport and mstanish claim to have 4b 4c hair. Maybe its because they don't make as many videos and they don't know really how to tag their vids. Or maybe they are not good quality vids or they haven't been makin vids for too long and as I said the vids aren't consistent. By the way I have no idea who you're talking about. Also a lot of people don't go back and watch old vids they just see them as they are made and put on their new video list
I haven't noticed this trend of the natural hair community only "promoting" hair textures looser than 4a. Everyone should embrace their texture. If women with a tighter coiled texture don't see videos or pictures about that texture, they should use it as an opportunity not shut down their channels or become discouraged.
I am going to make sure I comment now as I do appreciate all the ladies I watch videos. I dont want more ladies thinking no one checks for them. I will check out the lady you was talking about. I dont think your a black sheep at all :) I think your a beautiful natural. Im lame - I cant (and dont want to) see the difference between black hair types. With me you either got black hair, or mixed hair or straight hair :P
kinkier hair because styles they want to try don't hold or last. So before any hair judgement or hair envy is cast onto others, I'd suggest that you learn your hair and what it "likes," along with what works for you. We all have our hair drama and frustrations but there is a whole natural hair community that is willing and able to lift you up and share tips and tricks on how to maintain HEALTHIER hair. In my honest opinion your hair is lovely and looks plenty thick to me. :o)
I agree with you on some points but not all. My hair looks very similar to yours especially in terms of thinness. I am 4a and have been natural all my life. I don't agree that 4b and up are ignored. But I do agree that the THICK long hair naturals are praised. Not everyone has thick hair. And for a while I thought something was wrong with my hair until I started seeing more and more vids with people trying to cater to the thin haired girls.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm sure your reasoning for making this video is valid. However, I do not agree with everything that was said. There are A LOT of kinky, coily haired women on YT who do product reviews and give helpful insight to type 4 ladies. You comments about people favoring Type 3 hair I think is a slight exaggeration. To each's own, everyone's hair is different and reacts differently to certain products and styles. I know plenty of type 3 ladies who wish they had
Im coming from a different angle. I really don't agree with you about views. The people who chose to share their hair journey can't help their hair texture. There are a lot of people with very kinky textures that I watch. I think majority of people may choose to watch a varitey of people since no1 has the same exact hair type. And did we really go back to curly hair light skin? I just don't think that's correct, not with what I watch,ALL hair is exceptable if it's healthy hair. Just my opinion
@phillyswimmer U may watch different yt but I've seen comments where people say I only watch people who are mixed. Yes, I did go to the "non-black look" because its around me and that what I see.
I completely agree w/ you on this... that's why soooo many females are spending extra money to products that claim to "DEFINE THEIR CURLS" I'm currently 6 months post relaxer and I know my hair is full of kinks.... I love it♥ Oncce I become all natural I have no intensions on spending hundreds on hair products "DEFINE MY CURL" the YT narural community is on it's way to create the seperation between once again
Pt 1 of 2: My hair texture is very similar to yours and I used to be very depressed about my 4c/cnapp texture, little to no curl/wave pattern. I've been natural for 2-years and after fighting with my hair, trying to find some kind of style that I like, I've found that I love my hair flat ironed. It's long, thick, and very pretty when it's straightened. Also, after I wear it straight for approx 1-week, I twist it out on straightened hair and I get very beautiful twists.
Pt 2 of 2: I think everyone just has to find what works well for their hair no matter the texture. The majority of Natural YT'ers have a curly/wavy texture, I do not, so I found what works for me and I could care less about what anyone else thinks ; ) God has blessed you with very beautiful thick hair.
Thank you for posting this. It does seem like anything beyond 4b isn't publicised or considered beautiful. I've been on sites w product reviews from women w 3 & 4a hair and that's where the buck stops. I have a mixture of 4a & 4b, but majority 4b. Thanks for speaking on what everyone is thinking. Not everyone will like this, but who cares. At the end of the day you have to be honest with yourself. #salute
I might've written this before on one of your previous videos, but PLEASE DO NOT STOP MAKING VIDEOS! Lol, we have the EXACT same texture and finding that on youtube can be a needle in haystack quest. Also, you are right, who does care what ignorant people think? I think the best way to combat ignorance is to put yourself out there or to surround yourself with people who look like you ie my subscription to you ;0).
I agree I saw this coming for some time now. The Miss Jessies' products ppl r spending ridiculous $ hoping to hv that curly look. The silly wash n goes that takes 4ever n a day so ur hair could look curly. The gurus that's been natural 4 years offering over nite dream hair n length. I hope ur vid gets thru 2 many
i absolutely love your channel, ive been transitioning for 10 months and idk what my texture is but i love watching you and your tutorials and random talks. and also those bantu knots were GORGEOUS! you should do them more :)
pt2. It's like saying you're this super outcast when I don't think u are. Ok, straight or permed girl vs natural, then you have naturals vs naturals too??? That's not cool with me. My son has 4b hair and I teach him to love his hair, my cousins have 4c hair and yes these girls have the confidence to rock that 4c with pride. I'm the one with Fine 4a hair and it looks odd, so am I suppose to feel like an outcast? Am I suppose to stop doing my videos? Heck No. To each his own and I love what I got
Respond to this video... Yes, I do feel/see the bias in the natural community. My hair type isn't the only reason why I feel like the black sheep its b/c I don't care or agree with most things such as blogs, forums, ads ect.
I see ppl talk about 4b 4c on yt. Thepeelingqueen she has 4C. Why delete because of lack of traffic? I have 4a with a touch of 4b FINE and Thin hair, I can't do styles, I don't have long hair, and I have a channel but I wouldn't delete it if I felt neglected from other ppl, Plus I'm fat and not a "cute" chick, ppl leave rude fat comments too. Sorry you feel that way and that other girl is deleting her videos but I would rather dust my shoulders off like JayZ said and keep it moving.
@Kinksgalore Oh. I don't have 1,000 subbies yet but because my topics are either funny or have controversary then I can get them promoted. She should keep trying if that's wants to do, be popular or have recognition. For me I don't give a rats butt about being popular, LOL, I wasn't the popular girl in school and I'm surly not the popular girl on YT, LOL. My channel isn't for the masses, I have rare hair anyway.
You're so funny! Thanks for the video.

My hair, even when natural at the roots still looks straight, I mean, it's like it not really curly. To be continued... :)

Yg2Gutta 3 months ago
My hair like yours does not have a lot of density and the strands are fine. I use to get frustrated as well but now when I view natural hair channels and want to try a style I like, I just adjust it to suit my hair needs. Be encouraged.

I have 4z hair and it irks me really because there's nothing out there to educate my hair texture. Of course not everyone can be satisfied 100%. I've always been natural (never had a perm or color) and growing up I never had so much information available. I hardly ever see videos of ppl with 4z hair on youtube

yes i completely agree! im a 3b/3c hair type but for some reason i always watch type 4 hair vids along with other curly types. i LOVE your hair, ithink its ridiculous the way society gets crazed over multiracial people/hair. ideal with it daily at school, & its annoying. we should all embrace each other and shine the light on 4 hair types! seriously! dont feel left out we're all natural & all curly girls, all love xo

Your hair is definitely 'good' because it's healthy and gorgeous!
ubiquitousfacts 3 months ago
@ubiquitousfacts LMAOOOOOOO You know, I made a comment JUST like yours on another video. It's true, though. The reason why these 3c/mixed hair girls have so many black female subscribers is because of self hate. And, they have the nerve to wonder why their hair ain't growing long. It's because they're learning to care for their nappy ass 4a/4b hair from somebody who is damn there another race smmfh. And, I'm right there with you. I only subscribe to those with my hair type.
CrownJewel32 1 month ago
Do you have any pictures of your hair in its unmanipulated state? It's so hard to find pictures!
ubiquitousfacts 3 months ago
I totally disagree with u. Some of the most popular naturals on utube(Kimmay,Africanexport,Beatifulbrownbaby, etc) are not 3b & 4a types. It's more about what u offer on your channel not your hair type. Rather than thinking you're the "black sheep" try enhancing your channel.

mapsyleta 4 months ago in playlist More videos from Kinksgalore
I think a lot of people claim to be a certain texture and they treat their hair as if its a certain texture when its not. No one will ever say their hair is just 4b theyll be like "its 4a/4b" of theyll say "4a with a little 3c". I saw someone that clearly had 4b/4c hair but was claiming to have 3c hair and i was so confused. Also, people will try to get more views by making their icon for the video a picture of their hair appearing to be like 3c hair but when you click its 4b type hair.
its sad
bunniesattackedme 4 months ago
I think that they get more views because they do more styles and quality videos..I have 4C hair and I'm always looking for a good channel for 4C girls..Most of the 4C girl's channels that I've encounter are not good quality or interesting.. Do more styles and product reviews, I'm sure many ladies like myself will be interested..

EbonyEthereal 4 months ago 5
@EbonyEthereal I sooooooooooo agree with you ppl are so quick to make slick comments toward 4b+
Kinksgalore 4 months ago
on my old channel, i actually got jumped in taren912's comment box bcuz i said that if u want her hair, u don't want to be black, you want to be mixed (even tho taren's half swedish!! wtf). it's very accurate to say that ppl are trying to live in a fantasy land, and pretend that those loose curls not only exist in the black community, but that that's the TYPICAL texture and the poster child of what black women's hair looks like unmanipulated.
EbonyEthereal 4 months ago

Tangerinesorbet 4 months ago
@Tangerinesorbet I agreed! Black people are minorities in a non black world but you still hear and see us. I don't see the 4b/c naturals and I'm sure they would like to be heard.
Kinksgalore 4 months ago
@Kinksgalore Think of each hair "type" as groups within a group; yet, working as a whole against the mainstream. Just like in the real world, a group supports those within, first. The4b/c naturals will be stronger and larger community itself, in time. Don't worry. :-) The lack or shortage of ones like you has a lot to do with self-acceptance and supporting one another within the group, too. I do hope you don't give up; you are a pioneer to your group.

Regardless of the propagation of natural hair, I'm under the impression people still secretly covet 2, 3 and mixed type hair.

she is as sweet as she wants to be. We just need to stop all of the division period!
mzkyndramaries 5 months ago
help you but then there are those that just think they are all that and a bag of chips, and they may not even have a loser hair texture. My cousin has 3c/4a hair and
mzkyndramaries 5 months ago
their regimen will probably not do ANYTHING for me.

I'm not saying this in a mean tone, but why are you being discouraged by views?? The reason there aren't alot of vloggers/bloggers with tighter, kinky hair is because no one is taking initiative. I understand where you're coming from because I've been looking for videos out there for naturals who have more than one texture of hair and what are they doing to their hair. We all have different textures of hair and products don't work the same for everyone - I think we know that. But there is a audience for 4b/4c, I wish the videos will appear too that discuss about products ect.
pennyz2cute 6 months ago
@pennyz2cute I agree we all have different hair no matter how similar it looks. I wish more naturals would make videos b/c the natural hair community has a "look" that doesn't represent natural hair for everyone.

If women with a tighter coiled texture don't see videos or pictures about that texture, they should use it as an opportunity not shut down their channels or become discouraged.

kinkier hair because styles they want to try don't hold or last. :o)

TheGoodHairBlog 6 months ago
Im coming from a different angle. I really don't agree with you about views. The people who chose to share their hair journey can't help their hair texture. There are a lot of people with very kinky textures that I watch. I think majority of people may choose to watch a varitey of people since no1 has the same exact hair type. And did we really go back to curly hair light skin? I just don't think that's correct, not with what I watch,ALL hair is exceptable if it's healthy hair. Just my opinion

PetUniqueLLC 6 months ago
Pt 2 of 2: I think everyone just has to find what works well for their hair no matter the texture. The majority of Natural YT'ers have a curly/wavy texture, I do not, so I found what works for me and I could care less about what anyone else thinks ; ) God has blessed you with very beautiful thick hair.

@tastiredbone I think she feels no one cares about her channel/videos but yt doesn't promote channels with less then 10k subbies.
Kinksgalore 6 months ago
@Kinksgalore Oh. I don't have 1,000 subbies yet but because my topics are either funny or have controversary then I can get them promoted. She should keep trying if that's wants to do, be popular or have recognition. For me I don't give a rats butt about being popular, LOL, I wasn't the popular girl in school and I'm surly not the popular girl on YT, LOL. My channel isn't for the masses, I have rare hair anyway.

Oh, but I also think you're too hard on yourself... you don't have "bad hair." It looks really healthy and I actually liked the bantu knots on you!

A lot of truth in this video...especially about the good hair vs bad hair in the natural hair community. I've noticed this too.

@CosmoHunter24 Glad I'm not that only one to notice.

very interesting statement, very touchy topic too, not much can be said without natural hair controversy but i totally get what you are saying.
