You can't hear much on a YouTube video anyway. But I do like the 8100A, it is good, even now, compared with digital processors. But you have to keep it calibrated yearly to maintain the sound. For loudness wars, digital is the only way to stay in competition. But for analog quality, the venerable 8100A was pretty much as good as it gets.
I'll tell you, there is no sound because anyone with any type of ear knows that an OMNIA is so much better. If this video had sound everyone would be able to hear that!!
Amusing that title of video is "Omnia Sucks".
If Omnia sucks so bad, then why does virtually every New York City FM station process with Omnia?

the space efx in the omnia6exi blows the mod sciences away completely. the stereomaxx is a cute little doorstop that lights up.
I still love my 8100, but my Omnia 6, setup well...will kick it's butt hardly breaking a sweat.
If someone has an Omnia6 setup and sounding bad...it's the user's fault.

This box has a Texar card in it.... It wont sound right unless it's driven with prisms. I hate prisms!

Interesting! I have not seen an 8100A with LEDs in place of the GR meters. You are right though.. this gear rocks over an Omnia any day!
