On a slightly different note, how do you actually get Shingen Takeda ( one of Yukimura's assist) to do an attack? Whenever I do Yukimura's assist attacks, I always gets attacks by his other partner (don't know his name).

In a way, same question goes for those other chars in this game who have two assist partners. Only one of them seems able to do assist attacks. Not sure what the other one does.

Is there a way to set up a basara ko in actual match or at least in practice mode? (ie set up the conditions to have your char's orbs glowing).  Cos it seems rather difficult.

@AdvanceWarsManiac Nope, BasaraKO moves are only available when your character's orb is glowing. Input A+B+C to enter the mode then qcb hcf + C to perform the move.

To do the move you have to combo until you see the kanji, then press certain buttons(forgot which ones specifically)to go into a mode where you are glowing gold. Then you do the command for the move.

Since you said you are doing it in MUGEN, the characters you are playing as might also be a beta that doesnt have the move yet.

Takenaka Hanbei's combined BasaraKO is available as soon as his engun Toyotomi Hideyoshi makes his appearance in the battle field. no matter what level the engun is.

Yeah I saw that...and in Masamune's Basara KO, if Kojiro is with you then Masamune and Kojiro ride off in there horses. =D

Yeah, there are many little differences like this.. sanada yukimura too has a different final pose (on his knees) depending on if his partners are with him or not.. you know.. little details making the game even more enjoyable =)
