  • Great upload! Thanks for it.

(I don't really think I'd call it a duet, though.)

  • goosebumps

  • Please, sing for us here in Poland at least once more mister Cohen - I mean, if it be your will... :)

Dodatkowo: czytalem, ze ludzie byli zawiedzeni, ze Cohen nie odniosl sie w trakcie tego koncertu do Solidarnosci. A przeciez zrobil to: to "good will on both sides of struggle" to niby co, jak nie odniesienie do tamtej rzeczywistosci? Rownie piekne i poetyckie jak sama piosenka...

  • a well written anthem for us ALL of ALL RACES we will at one day come and resort and rejoice in PEACE and GLORY!

  • amen broder..speak from he whoo gives u the words

  • this is like a prayer for the soul

  • Unforgettable concert in Warsaw in 1985. Memories, memories...

  • Love this Song....amazing...and i Love Cohen :-*

  • Just amazing...wow

  • many many thanks for the man who has posted this masterpiece....

  • Amazing song, love the winedarksea version and of coarse Anthony's!

  • No words strong enougth to express respect admiration and love.

  • He refers to whatever was going on in Poland that time- ending of communist time, the struggle of people fighting for a freedom and struggle of the government trying to keep everything in "order". I wonder if he really didn't take sides or he couldn't...

  • FUCKIN' LEGEND!!

  • Looking at Leonard Cohen since old "songs os love and hate" till now : he sometimes is pure perfection...

  • oh ledebo onew talk

  • i love his songs but that thing about creatures of a higher order was jus chatin shit:)

  • @Tsiaman No it wasn't.

  • Oh, I LOVE this.... this is my favorite of many videos of this song by Leonard Cohen and others. I love steel guitar here, in addition to these incredibly beautiful lyrics.

  • perfect

  • so little... and so tremendous, both words and music! This song seems to be one of really anthems of our confusing times.

  • @vhs1 I'm sure palestinians appreciate L. Cohen.

  • Nice to see some video from the 1985 tour.

  • Great clip! I find this period of Cohen's career particularly interesting with the real country feel coming through.

  • Thanks for this great little clip. One of my favourites.
