  • Wonder what the cops thought?

  • Damn That guy can drive! I hate teh fucking pit maneuveur! I think it's playing dirty!

  • From 2:20 till 2:34 u can clearly see police brutality .

  • Seriously you do NOT need 20 cops arresting you. It just creates more chaos with all of them yelling. Either that or maybe they were all fighting to get credit!

  • 1:15 No selling that pit move.

  • I don't think anyone said this yet soooooo... Thumbs up if Cracked brought you here!

  • it's official, i need tobuy a Trans am and run from the cops XD

  • The cops were like, "GG."

  • GO BANDIT GO!

  • love it drive drive drive very nice J turn thanks for the push come get the donuts

  • I remember they showed us this clip in the police academy as an example of what NOT to do. Trying to pit him almost sent him spiraling into a bunch of innocent motorists.

  • Less time pulling over teenagers for not speeding, more time practicing that "lemme hit your left rear tire like a rapist at a dance club" maneuver.

  • Imagine the smile on that dude's face when they played the video in court! he had to have a hard-on!

  • @atraintzb Amen, brother!!!!

  • THEY HAD TO STOP HIM BEFORE HE COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT!!...u know, by almost causing a bigger accident themselves ^_^...

  • Fact, this was actually Jason Statham's final test for his drivers license.

  • Cops hood slide fail at 2:03. :)

  • vin diesel was definatly driving!

  • sob can drive so much for the pig pit job nice j turn.how many pigs does it take to get one guy.guy must have had a shit load of donuts in his car

  • I'm gonna barbecue your ass in molasses

  • That chase happened in Oklahoma City. The police here will give chase. The guy in the Mustang was not good, just lucky. In California for example, the cops will follow a guy around for 2 hours. That's crazy!

  • Yepp that was pretty cool. Impressive driving on both sides. Yes it was dangerous but I'm glad no one got hurt. Anybody know any backstory? Like why he was running or what happened to him? Just curious.

  • @toagmar1 Check video response.

  • ninjas...they exist

  • what we're dealing with here, is a complete lack of respect for the law

  • So,why is no one saying that the driver of the vehicle being chased was the asshole responsible for putting other motorists' lives at risk by not pulling over when he saw the reds and blues in his rear view? There wouldn't have been a chase if he'd pulled over.Hell, they might not have found out what he HAD done if they were just pulling him over to tell him his brake lights were out & needed fixing before leting him go on his way.

  • @doughesson Because he wouldn't have wiped out with or without a chase. Only time a pit maneuver should be used is if they feel other people are gonna in danger. After the first pit they should've assumed he wasn't wiping out.

  • From experience the P.I.T. is always performed (in my state any how) with one action car and no less then 2 buffer's in the event that the ever so intelligent general public.... Doesn't keep their distance vehicles 2 and three will speed up to push pursuant off on to the soft shoulder. The P.I.T will all so never be done if there is immanent danger to the general populous.

  • Had he turned his wheel the other way at 1:30, he would've been alright.

  • I'll sell the farm and the back forty to sponsor this good ol boy in Nascar when he breaks all existing records in his rookie year. We'll become rich and LOL all the way to the bank. If you agree, let's partner up. Post up or shut up!!!!!

  • was that kyle bush in the mustang and carl edwards in the cop car?

  • Three PIT maneuvers in thirty seconds.

  • One bad mother trucker

  • That ain't no Trans Am!

  • Is there a problem Officer

  • DRIVE IT LIKE YOU OWN IT,,,,,,,,,

  • I have to say I love the way the American police spin cars like that. It's totally awesome..I also thought that the Bandit was an amazing driver. Was a bit worried when they spun him on that bridge!!!!!! Maybe next time he should get a better car, as that one clearly wasn't capable of keeping up with his skills.

  • note to all prospective car chase participants:

just because your car has a spoiler doesn't mean it's fast or maneuverable.

  • love it

  • slam the fucking brakes wtf he should have know the pit bullshit and by the look of it must have speedy car speeder then that lol

  • lol

  • The driver on run is fucking good. He's just unlucky because the car doesn't stand by him. Give him a better car and he surely escapes. And I would have been glad of it, system and law sucks.

  • @68jmg give him a 1969 C3 corvette with a supercharger, or a 1978 trans am, or OOOOOO! a 1969 Ford Boss 429 mustang... popo wouldn't have stood a chance against a lineup like that! and yes, i'm high right now.

  • @rockergod789 or my uncle's '72 Nova 396

  • tank a p.i.t. manuever much?????

  • Too Much Driver and not enough car. The car Failed him. V6 vs V8 is why he was caught

  • damn that fucker can drive

  • police officer " why where you speeding" bandit " i was just spilling my beeeeer"

  • if that officer was buford t justice he would have caught him the split second the chase started.

  • Like this is you were sent from TvTropes! :P

  • he deserved to get away

  • You know, I kept thinking toward the end that if the GA state patrol had gotten hold of the Bandit like the real cops did at the end of the video, they would have done a little more than dragging him out of the car. The movie wouldn't have ended with Bandit driving off with Sally Field. Would'a been more like him riding off in a hearse with about 100 bullet holes in him.

  • i came here from cracked.com

  • haha wow what a bad ass lol.........still needs a trans am though

  • cops fail

  • That damn old boy can drive!

  • As much as I respect the driving skills of the police officers, they were gambling with peoples lives there. If the fugitive hadn't been such a good driver himself he could have spun off or flipped over into the oncoming traffic causing a head on. That being said, it looked like they had started to close down the highway. But who knows, maybe they had to stop him before he caused an accident.

  • @nicerperson Indeed, but the only reason he was driving fast is to get away from them in the first place lol

  • @Beefbonger So we should just let criminals drive away and not bother chasing them? They should have sent an Apache helicopter and machine gunned him, no seriously, in the UK if they see that pursuit is liable to endanger the public, they back off and let the chopper guys keep tabs until they can radio ahead and set spike traps, barricades etc. Sometimes to protect the public they let go of the chase rather than cause possible accidents.

  • i know right the uk rules and the way they poilece the streets sucks balls

  • @nicerperson Having over 800 hours of EVOC training, and knowledge of procedures, a Pursuit Intervention Technique, or PIT, rarely go wrong. When an officer performs a "Put It There", as my agency calls it, there are generally 2 or more cars behind the suspect vehicle. One will plan to perform the PIT, the other(s) keep an eye out for civilian vehicles.

  • @fprrtp6 In the event that the maneuver goes wrong and the suspect vehicle is about to cause a danger to another vehicle or person, an officer will drive his car into the suspect vehicle to straighten it back out, or to change its course.

  • @fprrtp6 And you are fully trained in preventing the dickhead being chased from flipping into the path of incoming traffic? I didn't see any crash barriers separating the oncoming lanes, just a small strip of grass.

I don't care how good you think you are, you cannot forsee every eventuality. I don't care if you have 1,800 years training, the guy being chased doesn't.

  • More actiony than a lot of movie car chases!

  • I agree that unless you in movie like Smokey and the bandit no one has a chance against a police cruiser especially a state or county police car.

  • @UPMAN2011 unless you bought a cop car and put a bigger engine in

  • I know it's wrong and dangerous but that waas sooooo cool !!!!!!!!!!!

  • GTA thought us all how to regain control when smokeys try pit manouvre

  • you have get to see this.

  • I want to try this in my primer 77 trans am, 403 inches of old displacement:P

  • What on earth did the jackass do that prompted him to go to all that trouble? Maybe he played too much GTA and forgot what reality is? Or perhaps he was just really bored?

  • Probably just "looked suspicious" to begin with... why must we automatically assume that anyone running from the police is a bad guy?

  • @Beefbonger REally? Did you just really ask that question? Maybe because he's risking the death of innocent people? ummm Duh.

  • @huckster699 It seemed to me like that was a very experienced driver who wasn't anywhere close to killing anyone, and the police clipping him were basically asking for a MASSIVE accident, especially when they almost succeeded into flinging his car on a bridge (which would have worked if he wasn't so skilled), into oncoming traffic on the lane below.

Not saying that he should have been driving at 120 mph or whatever, but the police seem like the dangerous lunatics in this video, not the captive.

  • @GrantRants OMG your an idiot with a lack of common sense.

  • @GrantRants as buford t justice would have said- total disrespect of the law

  • @toejam498 I'm not arguing against that. Like I said, he shouldn't have been driving that fast, as that's breaking the law. But the police were doing incredibly stupid things to stop him. They could have shut down the road or set up strips or roadblocks, and instead they're trying to clip him. If the man was a lesser driver, he could have flipped over that guardrail at 1:36, possibly died, and caused a massive accident, because of the police bravado. They should have just detained him properly.

  • @GrantRants cops are human and get revved up with many human emotions: peer pressure from your fellow constables to get their man--, once you put on that badge, out comes the power trippers as so many are.-- plus the fact this is the excited states and that is the pervasive mentality amongst the governing policing bodies. whereas in canada for example there are very different protocols for compliance in this stuation

  • @toejam498 No argument there. I'm fully aware of WHY they went through with their actions. It's just that I find those actions rash and reprehensible. :)

  • @GrantRants i hear you

  • @huckster699 Yes! I really did ask that! People risk other people's lives all the time and we don''t see police chasing them like Burt Reynolds. This guy never hurt anyone on camera... the only person I saw hurt or brutalized was HIM when the cops pulled him out of the car. "How many pigs does it take to pull one ass from a car?" Ummmm... duh

  • @Beefbonger Not going ot argue with you because you obviously hate the police and you let your hate cloud your judgement making you incapable of seeing the situation from an outside perspective.

  • @huckster699 Yes! I really did ask that! People risk other people's lives all the time and we don''t see police chasing them like Burt Reynolds. This guy never hurt anyone on camera... the only person I saw hurt or brutalized was HIM when the cops pulled him out of the car. "How many pigs does it take to pull one ass from a car?" Ummmm... duh

  • @huckster699 Yeah! I really did ask that question. The only reason he was probably driving so fast/reckless was because he was being chased. Try this for fun... run full-bore at someone you see downtown and see if they don't try to run away. Either you stand still like a moron, or you run to protect yourself! Ummmm.... DUH!

  • Civilians are stupid. The guy who broke the law should just get a bullet in his head.

  • The problem here is that the Tyranny Task Force clearly realized they had jurisdiction because the mustang had the "license plate" of forced servitude mounted on the back indicating that he had given up his rights to the mustang. no matter who "paid" for it, if you submit to their tyranny by "registering" your vehicle you contractually agree that they have jurisdiction.

    For more info see:

    ConstitutionDefenders(.)com and

    SovereignWarriors(.)ning(.)com

  • @ZAKARYAHClanOfMedlin lol registering your vehicle is tyranny? I think I found the stupidest comment on youtube.

  • Comment removed

  • I LOOOVE IT, GET EM SON!!!

  • DAMNIT BANDIT!!!! you gotta get on dat pedal boy.... and quit gettin spun around.. and get that booze to where we need to go... this is the Sn0man i'm east bound and down.. come awwwnnnnnnn back...

  • Like if you got here from cracked.com

  • SNOWMAN!!!!!! HELLLLLLLLP!!!!!!!!

  • Its not the car mustang or trans am its the drivers skills.

  • "Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow."

  • What kind of POS was that car that it couldn't outrun the cop?

HP ratings these days are pure BS compared to the 70's.

By the way, all the guy had to do was push the left rear side over with a left cut of the wheel and the cop would have been in the guard rail.

That nudge on the left rear is the lamest move in the universe, if the other person has a brain.

Glad no one was hurt because no one has the right to hurt innocent people with their games ,that includes the cops too.

  • @squizzoo oh stfu, so they were havin a lil fun fuck it, and it dont matter what kind of car yer driving, because the police have a system called police interseption wich means, the cruisers they drive have alot more tork then a normal vehicle, just incase you were wondering...

  • @oldskoolwcwfan Actually the main difference between police packages and what civilians get is an incredibly beefed up cooling system. Yes, you heard that right, cooling system. This allows the car to run at very high rpm's (for chases like these) for very long periods of time. They're (usually, most of the time) going to get you so all they have to do is keep up and maintain...eventually they're gonna win.

  • Best footage ever.

  • When they had them on the ground, He had to have said "okay okay, you got me, but you have to admit that was AWESOME!"

  • @member201 hahahhaa

  • @member201 :P

  • I don't know why Ford doesn't use this as their commercial. I'd buy the fuck out of a mustang.

  • my god, someone get that cop off the road, hes gonna get somebody killed, seriously. You got a helicopter on the suspect all damn day, let him run and get him with a road block or when he gets out of the car or let him run out of gas, jeez

    this guy has some skills

  • that mustang was obviously a standard cause he couldint of gone from reverse to drive like he did when they were spinning him out. it would of fucked it up bad at that speed. but i got to admit that was awsome driving on his part. only if he had the 5.0 302 in that mustang the crown vics would of had a hard time catching him. or a trans am with a 455 he would of been gone

  • No I didn't see your flashing lights......

  • There's another video on YouTube (search for "Scott Taff why they ran"; it's the first hit) that interviews the driver and a couple of the cops; the one cop keeps saying, "Yeah, there was no skill involved here, he was just lucky." Yeah, no skillz on display here at all ... the cop's just p---ed because he and his boys got owned!

  • at the end they take him down like hes a terrorist when he probably would be finished since he was crashed

  • what type of car was that? looks kinda like a mustang. and for once id like to see a car chase where the guy gets away

  • Sh.... and get!!!

  • cops have no sense of humor lol

  • I just think its hilarious, the cop on the 2nd pit maneuver thought he had him! He even pulled over to apprehend him can you see look on his eyes, When he drove right by him!!!! HAH!! HAH!!!!

  • If them cops were not on that secondary road he'd of been gone!!!!!

  • @mrjamiehorn oh yeah would he have ever he wouldve prob been in the next state

  • @mrjamiehorn It looks like they followed him down the embankment...

  • If he was in a Vett then he'd probably have out run those police cars, what does everyone else think?

  • our tax dollars at work haha

  • So is the record 3 PIT maneuvers before being put in reverse? Canadian police can't do PITs, so I don't know. But managing to function after 3 PITs seems pretty uh... boss? Not to support criminal behavior or anything, but that seems like quite a feat to me to last 2 minutes while 2 officers who have been trained to do high speed chases - (which he most likely didn't).

  • Y'know, I don't want to sound like I'm condoning criminal behaviour, but ...

... I gotta give that driver some mad props! To still be running after three PIT manoeuvres, including two bootleg turns at freeway speeds? Awesome as hell is right!

  • JEFF GORDEN .... HELL, HIRE THIS GUY!!! I would watch NASCAR more often.

  • Can you imaging what the cop thought after the first pit maneuver failed then the second??!!! I hate to say it but I give that driver credit!!!

  • Police overkill! The police endangered the public and the runner. I've done this several times and of course never been caught--nothing beats the thrill. That dude is a really good driver. Out in the desert or a rural area he could have probably got away with it.

  • @danaordane I like how you talk about endangering the public and then admit to provoking them into doing just that.

  • @danaordane I agree in a rural area he would have been gone, with that kind of driving!!!

  • BTJ: What we have here is a total lack respect of the law.

    JR: Right daddy

BTJ: Shut up jr! The first thing I'm going to do when we get home is punch your momma in the mouth!!

  • Problem, officer?

  • pretty sure thats ricky bobby in there..

  • I don't know what the hell Cracked was thinking. This look awesome.

  • @Winterfang Yes! Someone else who read the article! Where did this take place, I wonder?

  • awesome, they got him

  • love this video and i also love this same video with the dukes of hazzard theme ..........yeee hawwww

  • Look how many cops wanted his autograph for driving so awesome!

  • @lordpraga No kidding I have never seen anything like that before!!!! Hollywood should bail him out and give him a job!!!

  • Crazy-good driving skill. TOTALLY proved his nuts to these pigs. High-speed chases are nothing but a macho dick-measuring contest, and NOT based on anything remotely close to safety enforcement. These jackass donut-stuffers got shown the fuck up that day.

  • @pwrmacjedi explain that? Yeah, he's a good driver, but he still got caught and got it handed to him in the end.

  • 6 people have been caught by the police

  • VERY nice driving!!!! I would either sentence him to 10 years...OR...give him 3 years in a POLICE ACADEMY TEACHING....

  • @toonzguy Yeah I agree!!!

  • VERY nice driving!!!!

  • Hey at least those cops earned their pay that day.

  • If men really ran the world,on "COPS" during the chases, there would be a 1-900 number that you could call to give advice to the pursuing officers & another 1-900 number to call to give advice to the fleeing suspects.Of course, being the 21st century, there'd be a website or text number to do that with.

  • He deserves getting caught for being so stupid as to attempt this without the horsepower of a trans am.

  • @MegaFilthyMcnasty The Lamborghini!

  • @MegaFilthyMcnasty apart from the fact he has more..

  • guy deserved a beating.

  • its vin desiel not smokey

  • i think they should just let him go after 3 failed attempts

  • Should be arrested for driving such a shitty car so well.

  • Am I the only one here cheering for the police?

  • @THKSkywalker FTP

  • @THKSkywalker probably

  • @THKSkywalker No, I am too.

  • BUFORD T JUSTICE

  • If the man recovered that many times after being fishtailed by the Police, they should've let him go. If only it were a black Trans Am...he would've gotten away!

  • Comment removed

  • @Kitabo27 <-- JAFO who doesn't know what he's talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • anyone remember the name of a show that came out a long time ago where they had police officers chasing after professional stunt drivers?

  • this guy must have been the bastard child of burt reynolds that was some fly ass driving

  • FUKYEAH!!!!!!THIS GUY KICKS ASS!!!!!!CHARGE HIM WITH BEING THE SHIT!!!

  • Did that guy get killed

  • 1:23 "Later Braw"

  • este cara é muito fera mesmo.....

  • Those cops should be honored

  • Good ol' Oklahoma :D Love Channel 4

  • Those cops are stupid as hell trying those pit moves that are as old as moonshine,...lmao..i would love to take them on the track,...but that driver showed them up big time,...he did more donutes than they eat,...lol

  • funny funny funny

  • Playing GTA too much?

  • hell ya thats pure talent baby

  • Talk about impressive!
