  • very nice

  • This is amazing. I'm a big fan of sound-scaping and noise-rock. Plus my ever-lasting love for punk and shoe-gaze. this is amazng and i'd like to see more.

  • Not just the feedback, I'm loving that bass too!

  • few days late (bicycle day)

this is the best shit ever

  • I was very sckeptical at the beginning but then decided to go for a ride

  • Sounds so freaking awsome. I wish i could do that. If I could I would have used it in my songs. Check em out if you want :)

  • I wonder if cannabutter goes good with extra fizz high tea?

  • i liked the part where he used feedback and his tremolo bar

  • Did you guys publish this stuff other than youtube?

  • @AntalyadaIrlanda really? lol I didn't know that. lol I almost never look at this page.. I've known you for over 2 years now? Holy shit I'm mad late.. with whatever's next lol

where did you read/hear this about the Mark III being a tweaked Fender?

  • AWESOME! :OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • excellent feedback and whammy bar pitch control.

  • This shit grooves.

  • gorgeous, now where are my papers

  • That's some reeally nice stuff man, Keep at it!

  • Mind Bending.

  • nice

  • nice man good to see other people out there in the world with the same musical vibes

    dont ever stop

we will rule this world one day

  • That's just awesome.

  • u dont belive me

  • @geezboiz555 Why rule when we can unrule man?

  • thank you. Ive been looking for a video with actual feedback. So far all i get is people you like to scrape the guitar on the floor. YOU my sir are doin it right. Thank you. Very cool. What you playing thru?

  • Thanks so much man, I don't think anyone has ever called me 'sir' before hehe

I'm playing thru a Boogie MarkIII head and Marshall cabinet, dunno exactly what cabinet because it was a rehearsal studio.. and I'm using a Boss OC-2 (old version) sub-octave pedal, blended in very slightly

  • nice

  • Yeah, but you should at least experiment with everything, let the drummer do what he wants to do and accept and understand... The drummer only doing on the hihat after awhile it'll be boring, the drummer should learn all grooves and even improv of the tomtoms, licks for the tomtoms too.... Let every musician learn everything, experiment everything and see what they turn into... But at the end your opinion is your opinion... And it is right FOR you, that is what an opinion is...

  • If you want to come over and play the drums, I'll bake a cake.

  • Well me coming over to play drums... Uhm... Out of all the instruments I can play drums aren't one of them, lol!

But yeah it's your music... But seriously, the band you are in isn't YOUR band, (or it might be), but still if you really want to make a band's band, not an artist's band, well then all the members will play their music and you'll all fuse making the band's type of sound...

BTW your feedback is the real shit (real good shit)...!

  • And no we weren't and aren't nearly a band, Arik Roper is a serious artist, bass is not his main thing at all. And the drummer had just started playing drums.

That's what was cool about it, to me. What strong brownies can bring together as a vibe even when experience is lacking..when people are on the same page spiritually.

Hey thanks for your comments man, they're all much appreciated.

  • Shocking, lol!

No, thank you for your video...

    "0:28 to 1:08"

    Very influential feedback!

  • totally agree

  • nice jamming, but musically this is too long... There has to stops, changes! Like the drum can do drum fills... And bass could do more than just that! But feedback was awesome!

  • Amazing feedback! Amazing!

  • Oh shit son!<333

  • wasnt talking to you

  • "try" hehe.. can't spell 'tryptamine' without it

  • Is that THE Arik Moonhawk Roper?

  • Yeah, why?

hehe he's the only one of us that gets a 'THE' before his name, and I'm totally good with that ;)

  • I'm just a big admirer of his work, that's all. By the way, I love what you guys did in this video.

  • Yea I love this type of music.

  • dam this shits awesome.. fucking 5 stars!!

  • Fuck Bro 1972 Purple Micro Dot I Remember This Jam Peace Prother!!!

  • 1:36 - is there a dog screaming?lol

real psychedelic music as we all like it. I favorited it.

  • Lotsa Screaming Dogs..

  • sounds like the scary part outta dazed and confused

    psychedelic blues or something

  • haha:) ye I guess so ;)

  • sweet:P would you mind telling me the technique?:P cuz all the vids i find when i type in feedback things it's always how to make it NOT happen, if you know what i mean:P ^^

  • it's both the guitar and the Mesa-Boogie amp.. tubed preamp > a another tubed preamp > tubed poweramp.

and using tone _controls on the guitar_ to keep feedback from squeaking.. seriously. I wanted warm sustaining tones, like I was playing a sax, not like an effect

but needs good tubed amp, no guitar will do this by itself.

  • that's awesome

  • reminds me of Chicago Transit Authority

  • you guys sound great, let me know if you guys produce an album of shit like this

  • myspace . c o m / fatchants

Download the tracks that are up there, please use headphones :)

  • Please make musical babies so they can reproduce and we can re-populate youtube with cool guitar videos.

  • i wish i had weed or shrooms when i listened to this. it would orgasmic.

  • I.Love.This.Video. I wish I could get these sounds to come out of my guitar

  • no offence but this is not that great, I can do a lot better than that with my wammy bar

  • very trippy when the kaleidoscope starts in

i'll have to get me one of those octavian pedals i always just thought "well shit why spend money on that when i can just play up 12 frets?" but now the possibilities are flowing into my brain like ether into a wormhole haha thanks for the revelation.

  • noo.. it's a Boss SUB-octave pedal!

    Thanks for the feedback :)

  • boss is the shit man *thumbs up*

  • oh and whatever catalyzed _anything_ which felt like ether flowing into a wormhole.. I firmly support this, tell me what to do next

    :)

  • got a mp3/audio for this?

  • which gadget did u use for the guitar great sound

  • thanks so much man.. only pedal was a Boss OC-2 (earlier version of their sub-octave pedal), rest is just tube amp. I have a hollow bodied Strat copy with Alembics, which I'm sure helps with feedback, but I dunno if that had as much to do with the sound or tone ..amp was studio's, Mesa-Boogie Mark IV with Marshall cabinet

I've always been obsessed with trying to weird out my guitar sound as much as possible without gadgets, but like blending in a bit of sub-octave.

  • the oscillations-thing is just a tremolo bar bending down doubled notes, different strings apparently 'detune' at different speeds when you do this, 'vibrato' effect is faster the further down you go

  • keep up the good work dude and thanks once agian for granting the pleasure to hear such a wonderful music.

  • wow man I'm humbled.

well.. one more thing, if you're really trying to do this kind of thing with feedback

tone control on the guitar should be on 6-7, tone on the _amp_ up high.. sometimes I drive the (tube) preamp really hot and put the guitar volume on 6-7 also.. it's very different.. like 'walking lightly on hot coals'.. then I can turn the guitar vol. up for more sustain.. tone controls lo is a must! ..or it just squeaks.. I like sustaining _warm_ feedback I can play melody with

  • oh, sure, i've red about it...cooking effect is more stronger than smoking...

...and i SEE IT, in your video. :P

  • ooooh...fuckin'...shit...

...this jam's a MUST after a good joint...

    ...greetings for italy...

    ...peeeeeeeeace....

  • Can i ask about the video equipment used in it?

  • it's only a camcorder but processed in FCP with some old-film effect plug-in

  • How does it feel to be high?!?!?!!?!

    I'm 15 and I'm dying to know!

  • Cannabutter stimulates the right hemisphere of the mind, resulting in orgasmic, psychedelic creativity via guitar cries.

    Sorry, I'm high.

    Beautiful video -- 5/5.

  • this is fucking excellent !

  • fucking awesome

  • this was the psychedelic stuff i was lookin for man, awesome ! Andrea is my fav. song man.

  • Sweet, man.

  • great control of feedback, everything just a little too repeditive tho, i became bored of it after a while. i liked it tho... good work.

  • man, u got tone! this is fucking awesome.

    cheers!

  • nice

  • great

  • 'hmmm...thats bout exactly how i would play with a wammy bar. like the video quality on this. makes it look vintage. you guys just need to freakout!'

  • that is the sickest shit i have ever heard, props mans

  • Boss OC-2 (suboctave).

  • I found this video while baked on potent vegan cannabutter cookies that I made. Shattered my chemically enhanced, fragile little melon into pieces!

    Thanks for the ride.

    :)

  • you definitely hit a spot....just wish you all would take it somewhere....

  • Perfect.

  • men it makes me wanna get high, and a drum solo would be sound more sick!!

  • I liked it :)

  • when eating mushrooms, cover your eyes, don't care if you can't see what ur playing, it realy works then it's all out of mind

  • Great. The same sound im always looking for..

  • Damn man, this is good shit!!! What kind of amp do you use??? I assume yours have Celestion speakers, right?

Well, hope to hear more from you guys.

    Keep up the good stuff.

  • Pink Floyd spirit. Like it. Good jam. Nice sounds.
