And now that the world economy is so connected with what goes on in the U.S., with confidence that it can be RESPONSIBLE, they're becoming more and more disappointed, dissatisfied, and will eventually pull out. This cannot continue, and there must be change. It is the WORLD economy, not the U.S. and its pawns economy. America has been given too many chances. By now, awareness of its deceit is pretty widespread, and it should be. The world must no longer be subject to the U.S.' own incompetance.
Well said, Mr. Dixon. I quite agree for the most part (except for Moscow being ALMOST as expensive as London...???). Russia, the CIS, the former Soviets, and a lot of the so-called "Third World" (Which I have always considered a very condescending term) countries, have so much potential for growth and development, and have all been being HAMPERED by the U.S. And now, this Georgia conflict is the last thing Russia needs, with the U.S. bringing up the Soviet-era "us and them" attitude.
Then you can see my point when i say there is no reason to build a wide road there. Its interesting how foreigners are eager to point out what they think are shortcomings of Russia. I dont want to sound rude but it gets annoying after a while. Every time i hear a westerner talk about russia, it seems they have nothing positive to say because that is how they were taught. Wars start when people are misled. Just look at US, the new generation want to continue the cold war with new missiles.
I think Russia is an amazing country, I travel in Russia regularly and every country has its own beautiful places, strengths and frustrations - my own country is the same!
What is the points of making a 6 lane highway where there are no cars. This dumb englishman is not used to being in a big country because he come from a tiny island nation, he obviously doesnt realize how big russia is and that there is no need to make big roads everywhere because there are no cars in some part because citys are spread far apart.
Hmm - thanks for the comment - actually I have travelled on the highway in the middle of Russia. As you say the traffic is far less than in Western Europe on a similar road.
