it is a beautiful vehicle and it would be great if it was adapted to the outdoors: it would be possible to carry it on buses and totally avoid the use of cars in towns. the electric SBU and the eunicycle are similar interesting projects

It's not made for people who can walk, it's for people who CAN'T walk. Elderly, disabled, etc. There are millions of people who are getting older who will no longer be able to get around, and there simply aren't enough caregivers in the world to take care of them. This helps.

This isn't about lazy -- even the inventor said it was for "fun".

I think they made it too small. They should've made it an ENTIRE chair, with arm rests. See how they have to hold onto the seat? See how even the inventor almost falls off of it? That's called "bad ergonomics."

It would've been really cool to see a one-wheeled vehicle replace the common electric wheelchair. One wheel would be MUCH easier to navigate through a home.
