Awww, what a cute video.. My Chihuahua is due any day now.. And she is huge.. She is having 4 puppies for sure but the vet said when they did the ultrasound there could be another one or two behind her bowel that she couldnt see since her bowel was full. Shes so big she cant walk to much.. I end up with dogs that have big litters,lol.. I have a st. bernard that just had a litter of 12.. They are all gone to their new homes.. I cant wait til my chihuahua lil ones are born...

@diegomojarro It is generally not advisable to breed a dog under 3.5lbs or 3 years due to maturity. I also do not recommend breeding your dog for the sake of breeding.

@sammiecutie1 I think the puppy was just a few ounces at birth. It was so long ago (years) I don't remember. They can have anywhere from 1-6, I believe but typically chihuahuas tend to have 1-3.

@TearsOfWar1 The sound got distorted. Not sure why. Yes, Chelsea gave birth while I was at work during the day to a healthy little girl who was identical to her dad. We called her "Phoebe" in the time that we had her before she went to her new home.

actuly the bigger the chihuahua the more pups she can have a 12 pound chi can have up to6 pups. a three punder can have about 23 or three. the more she has the eaiser it is on her because they are smaller. :)
