  • loose the gay shirt, but other than that, its pretty good cover

  • Fantastic job!!! I love this song and you absolutely did it justice!

  • nice cover, but you didn't get the original effect...try working with guitar rig

take a look at my map of the problematique cover if you have some time...

    cheers!

  • Finally on all the covers on the clear you are the only one has to make has her to have the good tab!!!!! ^^ excel work man > <

  • i have recognized you john greenwood!

  • @TheTVbreaker Haha, I do wish I had Greenwoods insane skills!

  • Damn! This is really good!

  • @LeeTrobin Thanks! :)

  • gud cover bro

  • @MuseAddicted89 Thanks! :)

  • I actually kinda like the sound of the strings getting hit.

  • I would love if you posted tab!

  • @joeythe241 It's actually four power chords (C5, D#5, G#5, F5), and the following on the G-string:

    8-8-8-8-8-7-7-5-7-7-7-7-7-5-5-3-5-5-5-5-5-3-3-1-1-1-1-1-1-0-0-0.

And then, for one octave higher, you play the same pattern from either the 10th fret of the high E-string, or from the 16th fret of the B-string.

While playing this, I also use delay, a lot of gain/trebled distortion, and a Digitech Whammy with the -1 octave setting.

    Enjoy :)

  • @Cydonia170

    Thank you! :D

  • Great job, im going to go learn this. And what setting are you using, i have a fender 2 and i can't get that sound. It might be because of you have a different amp. I have the marshall 250 FX.

  • @TheCondemnedProphet Thanks! Yeah, it's probably the amp. I use a Roland Cube 30X on the R-Fier setting, and simply push the treble and gain to 10, the middle to about 7,5 and the bass to about 6,5.

  • the first riff you played about at 0:25 is actually played by the bass

  • Yup, I know.

  • @dirtpezz yyyyeeeaaaahhhhhh bbaaasssss

  • When i can properly do chords, i am so doin this song.

    Excellent cover

  • @jom97 lol

  • @MRM1991 Which is?

  • i like how you didn't play the best part of the song

  • Check my Map of the Problematique cover ;)

  • He's just strumming the strings above the nut

  • AWESOME! do you happen to have a tab lying around :D

  • very nice man, best cover ive seen

I like how you include the bass part in at 0:25

  • mate you have to teach me to do that move at 2:20 :D its exelent

  • Yeah how do you do that 2:20 thing?

  • @duringthestruggle You pick above the nut.

And get this high pitch sound, it's a great way to get Matt's harmonic effects amirite?

  • @therealcoalman Works just as fine using harmonics such as halfway across the 2nd fret on the D string, etc.

  • nice sound. i have the exact same equipment (minus the whammy and my tele is american) but try not to use full gain and maybe try using chorus or light flanger. i find it helps heaps.

  • Yes, both are great! :) Even though they are expensive. Buy used or something.

  • would you recomend the telecaster? im thinking of getting it, also would you recomend the digitech whammy? it costs loads though, thanks

  • can you do a quick tutorial please. gave the vid 5 stars n i subscribed :)

  • Thanks! I'll see what I can do. Got a lot of things to to at the moment, so I haven't really had time to upload any new covers during the last few months. It's pretty much for powerchords, some octaves from the 15th fret and up, and that other thing I play in the beginning is actually the bass, if I'm not wrong. Then you have to use a Digitech Whammy (pitch shifter) with the -1 octave setting and try to emulate it like Bellamy does.

  • When that's said, Bellamy uses a 16 step sequencer and a pitch shifter for his effect, I think.

  • dude im selling a pod xt live with gig bag and cubase sx3 it has most muse presets on it including the right effect for motp mate £200 :)

  • That's actually a pretty damn sweet offer, only I don't have the money at the moment ... Applied for a job today, though, so hopefully I will get some money soon. Could take months, though ...

  • Thank you :)

  • exellent mate this helped me learn it you must have a sweet ear

  • That's great! My ear works good enough. I can't hear a tone and go like "OH, that's a F#!", but I tend to find the notes quick enough, something that was impossible when I started playing guitar.

  • Thanks a lot! :) Not quite happy with it, though. Might upload a new and improved video.

  • so fuckin sweet! awsome guitar too!

  • nice cover! i like!

  • i got the same guitar and strap .cool

  • hi mm please give me the song´s tablature is very necesary please!

mm no hablo muy bien el ingles pero en casi de que hablaras español mm dame la tablatura por favor es muy necesariooo!

    por favor!

    gracias

    JeZzY!*

  • Hi. First of all, I barely understand spanish. Second, I don't have the tabs on a computer. I read the tabs from the tab-book made for Black Holes & Revelations, I took some by ear (may be written in the book, I didn't read it all), and I watched some videoes here on YouTube. I have also included a part in the vid that I think is usually played by Chris on bass. Also, I use a Digitech Whammy with the -1 octave setting to try to simulate Bellamys guitarsound in the song.

  • g00d, nice.

    good job, and great guitar.

  • Thanks :)

  • where cai i take the efect pls

  • have you tab s

  • BH&R tab-book, some ear (but it may be written in the tab-book, I didn't study the whole tab), and I looked at a couple of vids here on YouTube. ;)
