@23lFrench I think it's probably because he has to play them everyday, pretty much, and playing them the same way everytime would become stagnant. I wouldn't imagine it's a case of him having the ability to do so, more that it would be crap if he did.

I saw Foals at Lee's Palace in Toronto yesterday. I've seen a lot of shows, and it was the second best show I've ever been to (best show was Paul McCartney). And this is impressive considering that Jimmy Smith's guitar wasn't working for half the show, and Yannis' guitar cut out as well a bunch of times. They impromptu jammed and Jack Bevan HELD that show! The fact that you can do his drumming justice is a huge feat in itself.

That was amazing! I find with the second half othe album the drumming is drowned out by a great wall of synth and intricate guitar. Though it sounds lush, I wish they'd put the drums a bit more at the forefront of the mix, because, as you've proved here, the drumming in the second half of the album is just as interesting as the first half.

And PLEASE drum Two Trees :( It's my favourite Foals song! Don't leave it out!
