  • A love affair that went on for years & years...what a story!

  • Well it was a love affair but rather scandalous because reportedly she was but 18 and he was a married (unhappily so) 30. "I Remember You" supposedly came out of this. One has to wonder, however, if they had married, how their lives would have changed....better? worse?

  • I love Judy. Along with Edith Piaf, and Billy Holiday, these three ladies are my favorite singers. And sadly we, their fans, lost them when they still had so much singing left to do.

  • They're so fantastic together, in all their little duets there's an undeniable warmth.

  • Judy's version of this song is one of the best. Smooth and Jazzy, wish she had done more songs like this.

  • @ImInBetween. Thanks for this great post! Very rare. Love the interplay between Johnny and Judy.

  • I'm so glad to hear her sing this song

  • I didn't even know she did this song! Thanks! Love her forever...

  • they shared a great love affair

  • Thanks very much for sharing this, I've never heard Judy sing this before. I hope you don't mind me mentioning, but I think that this is actually Johnny Mercer (Singer/composer) that she is singing with. Johnny Mercer wrote the score for Judy's film 'The Harvey Girls' including the song 'On the Atchison Topeka and the Santa Fe'.
