when i do that the pade is different to yours the page that comes up for me is device configuration utility page and then i must enter a password buti dont know the password i have tried broadband1 and it works but its a completly different page than comes up

@svc1494 It's the name of your broadband connection. For example it could be "eircom6053".

On your PS3, when looking for internet connection and just click "scan" and look for the available devices. It should come up then. if it doesn't, the connection is not available at all.

Like I have the WEP/WPA/WIRELESS PIN and all that shit but the username and password ? The username can be found where ? and the password its the WPA?

WPA is just another form of encryption, if you have the WEP/WPA you can use it to connect to the router, and to enable NAT you have to go to advanced mode and then find services and there should be a check box near the top. Thats for the Eircom Router :D

@paulokiler user name is eircom @ eircom . net and password is eircom, its generic for user name and password for everyone with eircom, to change the Nat, go to the modem homepage aka192.168.1.254 if you have a Netopia modem and click on custom services and you can select a specfic Nat or a Static Nat.

To get NAT1 just enter "broadband1" as your PPPoE username and passwoed on either you Xbox or Ps3 console, very simple:)

that only works with at&t routers. what you really need is the default gateway. go to google and search the type of router you have there (for example, if you have a linskys router search for linskys default gateway)

You just enter the 8 numbers after the "eircom" network name/SSID and it will give you the code. It was that thing that caused eircom security to be on the news....

Hereis how to find out:

1>Hit "Windows Key+R".

2>Type "cmd" without quotes

3>Type "ipconfig" without quotes hit enter.

Where is says "Default Gateway" type that number into you internet browser,
