My backyard is almost 1/2 of an acre with 14 trees in it,each about 50-60ft tall. Professionals wanted over $2000 to take them down and leave the stumps. I rented a 35' boom lift from Home Depot,borrowed my buddies Husquavarna chainsaw,and 100 ft' nylon rope and took them all down myself in one weekend.cost me $191 for the lift and $20 for the rope.Oh,and I did hire a guy to grind the stumps out for me,$25 each :)
