@HevyToy With hard work, anything is possible. UFC fighters hit their prime in their lower 30s. You've still got time. Most start when they are 14, 15, or 16. I just hope you have some sort of fighting background.
@HevyToy theres a very slim chance you will ever be in ufc but who knows... also i would start taking a class like bjj or mma, something that will help your ground game. also always remember its never too late! good luck bro
kimura and arm bars are a simple and good way to submit your opponet. my teacher always goes on about kimuras to me. me makes me do them all the time. other that a triangle choke which is my favourite =)
Catch Robert Drysdale in his first professional MMA event ever, this July 17th. It's in BC, Canada but apparently the live PPV webcast is available at WWSN.TV. I'm looking forward to seeing what this guy can do in the octagon, hope he doesn't disappoint and kicks some butt!
Your comment is immature, thus you need to grow up. Simple conclusion no? My problem is that people like yourselves flood every single video on here with your stupid, childish comments. You either insult people, make rude/vulgar comments or say nothing. Next time you can't find anything smart to say just keep it shut please. That's my problem.
Bad technique. He should have dropped his left leg to the matt, and brought his right leg over his back so that his body would be almost horrizontal to his opponent or a "T" shape.
That way, his opponent can't escape his guard and it takes a lot less force. If his opponent postured up with his guard broken like that, he would be able to pass and do the armbar counter to the Kimura.
@00SoldierofFortune00 I agree, I remember looking at this 6 to 12 months ago and not seeing a problem, now I'm like....this guy fucked up on a couple of things for a basic move, but he's better than the other retard at expert village for mma.
Had a first taste off M.M.A. last night a good friend of mine came to our Kickboing club and showed us some moves. an awesome lesson somthing new for us as ours is just stand up, and boy was it hard work..lol
I swiftly (arrow speed), arrow your right hand over and accross him going towards your left(his right side) bringing you whole arm above his neck and chest, the moment he touches your left hand. You can press on his chest with your elbow or just BAM!!! Hit snap with your elbow on his neck.
Im sorry i commented on several videos and im not sure if were talking about the same thing. If not please leave a message so i can analyze the lock and formulate a preventive move. Thanks
ive seen profesionals put their hand on mat if person on bottom rocking too much or if guy on top is trying to work his way to the cage, so this isnt useless...
how is it not a sport? competitive mixed martial arts has judges if needed or a clear winner. there are records of wins n losses like sports. You train n practice as well as anyother sport. wrestling is considered a sport, y not MMA?
TY for making these Submission&Technique Videos cause Honestly ive only been interested in MMA/UFC for about 6 months now and the only experience I have to martial arts is a year of karate and you've taught me how to properly execute many variations of submissions like Armbars/Guillotines/Kimura's and a few other things so i thank you im a pretty big guy i believe im strong for my age (Freshmen) and i think ill do wrestling and enter tournaments cause i always liked boxing and this is way better
yeah i did not say mma isnt a sport i said ufc.thats like saying i have been going to many nfl practices.he think ufc is the name of the sport i was correcting him.i am a big fan of mma and i would never not consider it a sport.i was just correcting him
wow thanks this helped yesterday he was clumsy with his wrists so i grabbed it and seein this vid kicked in and he grabbed his shorts like u said he would but i swiveled and ripped it out thanks man.

guys u know, watching this channel isnt ACTUALLY gonna turn u into a judoka, or bjj master, u need and actual trainer who teaches u these moves, makes u work out n brings u some physical and mental challenges, u guys probably know that 2 b a black belt in bjj, u need to be officially ranked by one of the gracies or a very famous, well respected practitioner, so those Mcdojos cant get away wid their scams.
the kimura from guard is not easy to get because they can just straighten their arm at the elbow, until you grab your own wrist you really have no control.
yes but again if you have exprience in jitz you know to keep your hands clos to your body whenever you can and its mma not ufc.i not saying this doesnt work just the way they show would never happen
if i may, im not an expert in bjj but i do train and i know my fair share i have expierience and when you are grappling and your opponent is in your gaurd and he is tired they tend to put thier hands on the mat next to the thigh its a very common mistake
If he has you mounted and you go for a Kimura he would just spin and step over for an arm bar. Look it up, I'll help, its called a counter. Douche bag.
your right, if you have a closed guard you can get the tap. I was responding to the comment "could be used when there in a full mount if you pop your hips then grab the arm" but if you do that you would get arm bared 90% of the time
He could have rolled out of the submission because the guy didn't have his leg on the opponents back to prevent him from escaping with the roll. Just having an open guard probably won't be enough, especially if the opponent is trying his hardest to get out of it.
wow these techniques really helped me out. I practice Karate and have no experience on ground fighting, but with just watching these clips I defeated 2 Judokas
Yeah I do MMA,dont use this in a real street fight, streets fights last 10 seconds tops, and they will never have both there hands laying down on the ground.

Doing this last night we also learned the defense for this which is what you are talking about with Matt Hughes. Basically he just dropped his elbow and walked his knee over to the ground, and you can do this easily by pushing open the guard, and from there its just a simple armbar. Either way its much easier to twist up, and faster i think, if you break your guard momentarily to push your hips up while you rotate and then just close your guard again as you bring up the opponents arm.
LOL, hold 8 down...
