  • yes we certainly know how to tackle christmas 2:13

  • SON WHY YOU SMILIN'? YOU JUST DISRESPECTED YOUR PARENTS!!!!!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH A FOOTBALL!? LOL

  • i like how that kid smiled when santa was tackled

  • To Sportygirl. I got such a kick out of the linebacker, and then I got this

Jesus on Christmas It has come to my attention that many of you are upset that folks are taking My name out of the season. How I personally feel about this celebration can be understood by those of you who have been blessed with children of your own. I don’t care what you call the day. If you want to celebrate My birth, just get along and love one another. :)

You gotta LOVE that guy! :)

    Merry Christmas everyone.

  • 12 idiots didn't like this video so they were tackled by the Christmas linebacker

  • Press 9 during the video. If you leave CHRIST out of Christmas, this will be the last thing you see!

  • @bolleoy that may be true, but the world views "X-mas" as a politicly currect way of Christmas for nonchristian families, which in my opinion shouldn't even celebrate christmas.

  • the "X" in "X-mas" stands for "Xristos" which is Greek for Christ

  • You're cracking me up!! LOVE this! I have a thing about writing Xmas NEVER!!

Good job! Will pass this on.

  • @CeciliaStKing I passed this on facebook and I decided if someone says Xmas or Happy Holidays they will end up finding this on their wall.

  • The linebacker blows you up again boo-yah!!

  • i love the linebacker!

  • the least funny thing about this was the video quality. And that was hilarious.

  • @Jac0437 I no rite!

  • Say it like you mean it :)

  • Saying xmas isn't taking "Christ out of Christmas" because Isn't in Latin or Greek x mean Chris or make the sound of "Chris". Am I right? But yes I don't like how materialized Christmas is.

  • @MinorCheese777 i understand what your saing and i agree but most people dont know what x means in greeck or latin

  • I wonder what happened to the 10 people who disliked this video?

  • We need an army of these guyseverywhere!

  • the boy that got the football became the next christmas linebacker

  • ya dig

  • See when I hear X-mas, something just bubbles inside of me....note the bouncing pecs. Too funny.

  • 0:57... LMBOOOOOOO!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA YESSSSSS <3

  • @jessimaca77 Everyone I know realizes He wasn't born on Christmas day...it's just the day people choose to celebrate and remember it on, not a "lie" we have bought into.

  • Tackling the Santa blow up ornament was funny lol

  • I love this

  • I must confess, tackling the electric Santa lawn ornament was kinda funny.

  • X means Christ in Greek...not many people get that.

  • @Xin1994, Actually... I beg to differ. Christ in Greek is Χριστός. But I see where you would get the X from. I think it would just be simpler to say Christmas instead of Χριστός-mas.

    Merry Christmas.

  • @COPEplay

    lol. That is all.

  • @Xin1994 yea X is only the first letter

  • what i dont get is why the egg nog lady had to get tackled

  • 9 ppl are getting tackled y the christmas linebacker

  • hide yo kids, hide yo wife, and hide yo husband, cause they tackling everybody out here

  • @Scottenstein

Well.... Get over it and it's just a video. Not a reality TV show.

  • there are 9 losers out there

  • the 9 people who disliked this will get tackled by the CHRISTMAS LINEBACKER!!!!

  • @flyingat12 i got 12 lol 3 more ppl

  • you guys know that the letter X in Greek is translated into Christ.... just saying

  • thumbs up this video or get tackled by you-know-who

  • does anybody actually SAY "X-mas"? That seems like an imaginary fight that some Christians try to pick. I can agree with the sentiment that we shouldn't replace Christ in Christmas, but do a little research. The "X" in Greek was the letter "Chi" and was actually the first letter in the word "Christos" or "Christ". It looked like this: Χριστός. The letter X actually became the symbol for Christ - like today if we were to say "JC" for Jesus Christ. It wasn't originally meant to "X" out Christ.

  • @Scottenstein Its just a fun video!

  • @Scottenstein These linebacker videos obviously exaggerate a little bit dude...

  • @Scottenstein You're just scared of the linebacker...

  • hahahaha i love this ima add it to my main n leave it forever

  • lol lol lol lol lol

    Jesus rocks

  • Iunno this one wasn't good as the original.

  • LOL that dance after destroying the blow-up santa at 1:00!!!

  • Ho, Ho, Ho Merry Christmas!

  • Epic WIN!!!

  • Too bad Jesus wasnt born on Christmas...Do your research people..Another lie that we have bought into.

  • LOL! Awesome!

  • LOL...feel the power of the linebacker...and the Christian Road Warrior... :-)

  • I remember my old church showing this at Christmas time, my friend Angie & I were rolling. I have to say Terry Tate Office Linebacker is funnier tho.

  • haha....love 2:01

  • I watched the Easter Linebacker at my school today, and I was laughing so hard I was crying and I throught I was gunna pee my pants. I gotta show everyone this video XD

  • I hate those blowup things...I'm going to go tackle one next Christmas now..

  • We know how to tackle Christmas :) hahahaha

  • Hey I also watched it at church

  • Man I love this video so funny

  • this Linebacker was the best one

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • lol

  • i watched this at church! everybody was laughing! hilarious

  • I love this video! Thing is... the history of Christmas actually does point to the pagan holiday of Yule. Christians jumped on the bandwagon much later. And artisticworship is right... The greek letter Chi (which looks like an X) is the first letter of Christ. It's kind of like B'way for Broadway. It doesn't offend me.

  • "This ain't no sleigh ride." lol

  • Merry Xmas!, whoa whoa whoa! *tackled*

  • ya dig?

  • I am letting ppl know about dis video from a website that about over 2 million ppl r online every 24/7 so ur welcome shadow9235

  • hey man dident now u had a youtube acc

    its me sach add me

  • I too, saw this at church.

  • Wow I just noticed that "Santa" and "Satan" just moved the "n". I can't agree more that christmas is over materialized and the purpose for celebration has been lost.

  • Hey I Also watched it at church. I was bored so I watched it again

  • LOVE IT~~ so inspirational.waatched at church

  • X actually in the greek alphebet actually represents Christ. A Russian friend of mine was trying to teach how to say merry Christmas in Russian, when he tried to write it out, when he got to Christmas, he started with a x before he realized he was righting it in Russian and I cant read Russian

  • The only thing Christian about Christmas is the birth of jesus, and that didn't even happen in December...

Not only that, are you saying trying to promote violence against people with whom may views your faith in a different light?

  • Dude, calm down, its just a video, theres no real linebacker, you can come out from under your bed.

  • This is obviously a parody, LOL. I mean, come on, "Christmas is about Jesus. Ya dig?"?

  • @Dohbator You're right in the first part of your statement, but I guess when they set up christmas they didn't really have a way of knowing what time of year Jesus was born.

But they're not trying to promote violence, its a vid trying to show the aggressive stance some people take over these things (like- you can't have any other fun at christmas, that sort of thing, which is rubbish) in an exaggerated way to show that it is the wrong way to go.

  • @Dohbator actually, it is believed Jesus was not born in December; it is believed he was born somewhere in fall. But, His birth is celebrated on the 25th of December because that is the date the three Wise King had finally reached Jesus and gave him gifts. Notice the Christ in Christmas. this video is just suppose to tell you that you should not be ashamed about being a Christian, and if you are a Christian, you should act like one.

  • You are right and wrong. There was a census going on in Bethlehem and also the shepherds were tending to their flock. which indicates that is was during THEIR summer. The only reason why we celebrate it at this time is because that is when the church decided to celebrate it. It has nothing to do with the wise men. Plus the Bible does not say their was three of the men it simply says their were three gifts. Don't try to correct someone if you are wrong too. =)

    MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

  • Just FYI---"X" isn't replacing Christ in Christmas. The Greek work "Christos" is involved, or in reality its first letter. That letter translates to the English "X". Hence "X-mas". All it is is an abbreviation. It isn't blasphemy; if it's anything it's merely yet another example of laziness in America...

I do, however agree with the fact that people tend to place too much importance on gifts, Santa, etc and forget the true purpose.

  • Hey bro, just letting you know that the greek letter "Chi" is basically a large X with the two bottom parts of the X descending slightly below the line. This is the word for Christ -> Χριστός - which also means Messiah, anointed one, aka the expected savior of Jewish prophecy.

I do agree people have no concept of the fact Christmas is built on Jesus the Christ. That God loved us so much he sent His son to save us from our sins. John 3:16. See also Romans 3:23,6:23, 10:9-10. :)

  • @capnchrist2007 thats funny my, i go to an all Christian school and thats what my Spanish teacher taught me X=Christ (in greek)

  • Come on guys Santa Clause is just a fun tradition for kids and there was a man named Christopher who went around on christmas and gave gifts in order to bring happiness to people which isn't that a large part of gods message and religion is for your own personal beliefs who are you to declare your beliefs to another by tellling them what they should believe

  • Yeah; however, the idea of Santa Clause has be so obscured that not many even make the connection between Christ and santa clause... or Christ and Christmas for that matter. Just Elves, Presents, and Lights... Thats all I see about it on the media nowadays. I agree that Saint Nick was a true Christ-follower, but his image has been demoralized into a icon for christmas "presents". The idea of presents is to give... but all people see is something to receive.

  • @SlashGNR1993 the only reason we have a holiday called Christmas is because of Christ's birth. Santa Clause is actually a distraction from Christ to get people away from him, thats what Satan wants you to believe, its all about the fun(sin) to get you away from Christ, Satan doesnt want you to get saved, ever since Adam and Eve, he has made it his purpose to get as much people as he can away from Him

  • @hctrpgda first of all celebrating just one day out of 365 days a year is neither enough to allow yourself to be called a christian nor is it enough to get you saved if you want to be saved as a christian then you must worship jesus 24/7 and the idea of Santa Clause i remain adamant is a holy idea where a few see it as the only point of christmas it isn't your job to correct them

  • I want one for my church!

  • When my friends say x-mad I'm gonna call the linebacker!!

  • lol

  • When I hear that I'm gonna Be the linebacker.

  • I luv the points at 1:00 and 2:00 pricelessq

  • hilarious.

  • I'm so glad that Athiest haven't got on this video and just argued with christians

  • At least then we're telling them about God.

I do see what you're saying as it can be quite downhearting to have your faith trampled and disrespected.

    Evangelism rocks!

  • @Thatguythere2

    sooner or later, no doubt

  • Tough love baby!

  • so glad he tackles imposter claus. Really winds me up the fact so many churches teach father christmas to children. he is one big fat lie!

  • LOL, this ones funny, and check out the Me Linebacker! It's hilarious!

  • X is actually short for christ, but this vid is still hilarious

  • um.. isn't it quicker to just say christmas?

  • "This aint no sley ride baby!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • yeah, yeah, yeah... we know... it dates back to the 4th century when Christianity became more the "state religion" of Rome. At that time, many romans (who weren't really Christians) blended pagan religions with Christianity. If you want to get picky... the calendar we used was created roughly 500 years after Jesus by a monk (Dennis the little) and is at least 4 years off (more likely 6)on his birth.. so you want to get picky about DAYS?! When do YOU want to celebrate the birth of Christ?

  • Its christmas! Not Xmas!

  • I still love Evangelism Linebacker, but I do love him in this one too XD

  • i love!! this!!

now i know i will never say! X ever again!!!

    HAHA!!!

    :D

  • so stupid, wanna be of terry tate hes the best office linebacker

  • X(CHI) is the first letter of Christ in Greek...never the less, this is HILARIOUS!!!!!!

  • lol, Whats wrong with a football!?

  • LOL this is soooo funny.!! I will never say Merry X-Mas in my life lol

  • @k5b3w1 X-mas is ok though because the X is a Greek letter , the first letter of the word Xpistos/Christ.

  • @DefrostedCalvinist ah..i didnt kno that

  • haha thats so funny

  • TRU DAT IS RIGHT!!!

  • oh they showed this at my church

  • Y'all better not say X-mas usless you wanna get tackled by the Christmas Linebacker.

  • never say X

  • true dat

  • i love this video it has a good meaning

  • only dums say xmas

  • We watched this at church yesterday! It's so funny! And it gets the messege across.

  • lol hilarious.

yeah, x was part of the chi-ro...that backwards p with the x thing across it. it was easier to write it than Christmas a billion times...like drawing a heart instead of writing "love"

but now it is coz they're crossing out Christ.

  • i saw this once at a seperate ministry class for my church and i just HAD to search it up lol

  • I TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL!!! So true! I luv this video!!!

  • God didnt show up in a rocket ship... or a cadillac.. he showed up as a baby - LOL!!!!!!!!!

  • But what you don't seem to get is that it requires a sense of humor to understand. Poor you and your lack of comedic understanding. Poor you indeed.

  • Yes....It is an adaptation. Hey.....talking about established characters. Christmas is about.............JESUS. A Terry Tate adaptation that pushes that message....excellent! Play on! Failed attempt? Not so...the message has been delivered.

  • JESUS is surely disappointed by the lack of originality used by his followers. "Adaptation" that's a good one.

  • Well then, Star Wars (since it draws from mythologies and lore from dozens of cultures) and just about every movie "based on a true story" is disappointing and equally as terrible. Poor world for a lack of originality! Woe is me.

  • It's a direct ripoff, face it already haha

  • This ain't no sleigh ride baby!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fail

  • I love how he tackles the blow-up Santa (Satan? Wow, never saw that before... "Satan's Claws is (are) coming to town"?). xD

  • hahaha great man

  • "Now don't mess with the linebacker, babies. Say it like you mean it." "JESUS!!!!!" lol

  • ohmygoshhh!

    i love this video.

    it's hilarious!

  • x mas pissing me off its CHRISTMAS! good lord.

  • utter LULZ

  • wen they originally started x-mas it wasnt to put Christ out...I forget exactly the reason for it but isnt what it has become

  • I just read on wikipedia that the X is just a shorten symbol for christ. I think it orginates from greek. Still, it feels a little offensive to take out Christ.

  • Santa is how Satan spells his name when he wants to decieve people...

  • To cwcollier: Totally agreed!

  • This video is hilarious....rep Christ to the fullest...

  • What's wrong with eggnog?

And how come everyone says X-mas?

  • Nothing is wrong with eggnog.

Saying X-mas is taking Christ out of Christmas, the Christmas Linebacker is just a funny little Christsian Skit showing that it's wrong to say X-mas. They made the Linebacker to make it funny.

  • X means Christ in Latin somehow. Its a shortened version.

  • I don't think so.

  • I read it in a Latin book.

  • Cool, but still, when people say "X-mas", they are saying it meaning to X out Christ.

  • I guess. The santa jingling that bell in the kids face is stupid.

  • I know right, what kind of snata would do that? lol.

  • Merry X-mas!!!!

Get those things out of my face!

  • Hahahahaha XP

  • X is an abbreviation for the Greek "Christos," from "chi" (X) the word's first letter.

X has been used for hundreds of years in English as an for Christ.

  • I left out "abbreviation" between "an" and "for"

Proofreading is important, kids. Don't make the mistakes I did.

  • I just learned that today at church.

  • So should we start calling him Jesus X?

"X died for our sins." I don't think so. Get rid of the X.

  • LOL! XD

  • "LOL! XD" Is right indead, lol XP

  • Yup, lol.
