Check out Enchanted Forest sound track for example, its pretty climatic, and there are loads of other styles in different locations too, wow has big spectrum of nice ambient music. Orgrimmar, Undercity themes and loads more.

@MojoRisinisIts So they can go out into the world and grow. Metaphorical growing of course, a more humanoid like appearance allows them to be accepted. However the artistic reason isn't really the truth. The original concept was for them to be wood elves, slowly the art work became more and more plant orientated and eventually a new fantasy race came about.

I'll be playing one too, I can see them being very good Elementalist or Warriors with their racial abilities.

I have an incredibly awkward question. I recently started reading Ghosts of Ascalon and found that the sylvari Killeen can eat normal food. As plant people, I assumed that they would create their own food as plants normally do. As I realized they could eat normally, I now wonder...do they get rid of their waste in the same manner? Can..a sylvari go to the restroom and pee/poop? o_O;

@Ixlovexsharpies I'd expect so. Whilst they function more akin to animals. Unlike most plants they aren't rooted, so they can't draw nutrients from the soil. I expect this is why they can't create their own food. It has been mentioned that they are invigorated by the sunlight but they can't survive on it alone.

@maartenvdvegt I doubt it, aside from racial abilities there is nothing seperating a charr from an asura from a sylari from a human from a norn. They all have the same stats based on their profession. And you can't argue size because the collision detection is the same for all. rom my experience there are more female guild wars players than male and they tend to be attracted to the same pretty things as males. The game should be pretty balanced if you ask me, might be a few more humans.

They aren't pan, gay, bi, straight, whatever. Each one is however they are and you play whatever you want, just like any other race. The Sylvari however, as a race, don't need to care about sex or maybe don't even get it since they are born from their tree not intercourse. It's like you are trying to say all humans start off straight until you choose otherwise... no they start off however, so do Sylvari.

I used to like this race then I realized they force bisexuality on us with this.I don't want my character to be bisexual! You can decide to roleplay a bisexual who only mate with the opposite sex but that's it.

I have no problem with bisexual people I just want to stay out of it. When I playing my character represents me. Most players can roleplay the opposite sex. Well I can't and don't want. If you can't accept this then it's some kind of "heterophobia" :)

@larvinc The Sylvari aren't bisexual because gender or sexuality doesn't exist to them, in fact their sexuality is the exact opposite. When they love someone, they love them for their character, not their body. That's pansexuality at best, or just simple whatever they prefer.

Again, it's all about preference. The Sylvari don't recognize gender. Love to them is about the feeling and appreciation of the person's qualities, not their bodies. If a Sylvari falls in love with someone, its because of their personality, not what body they have. They literally have no concept about sexual orientation. They're plant people.

There are no druids nor warden classes.

The classes are Warrior, guardian, engineer, thief, elementalist, necromancer, ranger and one unrevealed class.

The unrevealed class has highly been hinted out to be mesmer.

If a warrior manages to get an ancient human hero's weapon or armor then he has to search really hard if he wants an upgrade, because that stuff generally is blessed by one or more gods.
