@MiaMountaiLover - I think he/she may be talking about the lyrics, they might be similar in Icelandic and English. I don't know personally, I don't remember the English lyrics. Everybody knows Icelandic and English are not similar languages. :)
@EyThoroddsen - I know the English lyrics and I can say for certain that they don't sound anything like the Icelandic lyrics. And you're right, Icelandic and English aren't even remotely similar.
That being said, this is absolutely the most beautiful version of O Holy Night I've ever heard, no matter what the language is. Yohanna is incredible.
This is quite the most breathtaking interpretation of Oh, Holy Night in any language I ever heard. Yohanna's voice is angelic. And I agree with Komparsos5, Icelandic is a beautiful language. It's quite close to English, so one can understand every word Yohanna beautifully sings.
svo fallegt :) such a beautiful voice! =)

Vort trúarljós, það veginn okkur vísi.
Hjá vöggu hans við stöndum hrærð og klökk
og kyrrlát stjarna kvöldsins öllum lýsi
er koma vilja hér í bæn ug þökk.
Nú konungurinn, Kristur Drottinn, fæddist
hann kallar oss í bróðurbæn til sín.
Föllum á kné. -Nú fagna himins englar!
Hjá lágum stalli lífsins kyndill ljómafagur skín.
Ó, helga nótt, ó, heilaga nótt.
