No. Irons are stronger lofted and balls (and technology in general) are better these days but...lots of guys can do this if they push it...and lots still can do it pretty easy. Scout it out a little. Arnie would be able to if he were in his prime today.

these clubs you have to be so consistent, that why it impossible to compare to today. Tiger is good, great but Arny was the man, the best. Seriously these clubs are made of wood and the head is smaller then today
