Jim said "In Fly, we played all kinds of music: ska, reggae, punk, rock, etc. We did all the same futile stuff every band does. We had a manager who made a series of dumb decisions and then disappeared, chased futile leads with promo people and sent out endless packages. I remember these guys from NYC circa 1981. I didn't know they made a video!! I love the way the drummer stands up in the video so he can be seen - "xlarkie" is right he was a great drummer; clearly the driving force behind the band. Anyway, someone I know told me they all moved to Belgium and started a country act and hit it big in the Brussels bar scene. Is that true? Somebody has to know what happened to these guys!

This song found it's way onto the first Blue Rodeo album and became the song that really got me into them. Jim and Greg moved back to Canada (where they were born) and went on to form the enormously popular Canadian county rock band known as Blue Rodeo. They did not Fly to France or Belgium for that matter.

WOW!! Whatever happened to these guy??. I was a huge F2F fan in the early '80s when they played gigs down in The Bowery. I even have a signed headband from Steve. Good drummer. Great drummer.
