I am Indian, but my support was always for Australia since 1999 and present and into the future. I remember watching this live in my home and was ecstatic and my heart was racing when Brett Lee hit the '6' which pretty much sealed the game. :) Some say Australia is a weaker and deteriorated side, but I think they have the skill and the aggression in the younger side that makes up the Australian squad. India is going to have a tough time down under next month for the 4 test match and ODIs.

@lazaglider Indians payed back with 5-0 white wash of England in India in ODIs.And as far as tests r concerned India beat England in England in 2007  or 2008 I guess.India is the world champion and England lost to ireland and bangladesh in World Cup nothing more humilaliting than tat.Dont pity us,show pity on Aussies,cuz India will take it down.Dhoni the captain cool,Sachin,Laxman,Sehwag will tear down any side.In England we had 8 players missing hence the loss.

I think you are somewhat mislead if you believe all cricketing nations consider the ODI format as important as India do. As I've said most teams, England included, now use ODIs to blood young and promising cricketers as was the case with the series in India. Half the team had no experience.
