  • @jlctc88: please reread about the car. The car has a 350 Ols rocket

  • Find headers, and use a GM performance parts camshaft. Edelbrock intake manifold for the 350 should fit the 307, and get a (non-computer controlled) holley 600 or 650 carb. This combo will be a significant performance improvement over your stock 307. Have fun, and good luck!

  • thats what i doing to my old tires before the new ones go one!lol

  • Nice burnout. Nice car too. My gram has an 88 Cutlass Ciera. just thought i'd throw that in its not in the best shape though lmao. I would like to have an older oldsmobile... they are good cars.

  • May only have 90 hp but i bet it makes way more torque.

  • {:

    (.)(.)

  • I have a 1983 Delta 88 with a 1968 Olds 455 in it. Also have a 1977 Oldsmobile delta 88 royale, Know where I can get Doors?

  • Nice.

    Door? try a local U-Pull-it

  • I have tried my local LKQ self serve auto parts, the only issue is the 1977 Olds is a 2 door. The 4 doors are pretty easy to come by.

    Thanks for the advice

  • im getting a 76 delta 88 with the 350 rocket i think it has one. i kow it has the 350 400 turbo tranny. can't wait to burn out in it.

  • that 350 kicks ass im getting a 74 olds omega with the same engine its going to be be insane >:)

  • O yeah it is. The 1968 motor I have is the same block used all the way up to 1976.

  • hey man that is one sick ass ride! i have an 85' delta 88 and am having a heck of a time finding preformance parts for it, any chance you could point me in the right direction? im keeping the stock 307 V8, but ive become a real fan of them since ive bought this one! so far i havent done much except change the tire size and the general fluids and filter stuff, cause i just cant seem to find the parts i want! headers, exaust manafolds, intake manafolds, carbs, just the bolt on stuff for now.

  • How easy was the swap? Was it direct bolt in? What kind of modifications did you have to do to the drive train (driveshaft mods, flange mods)? I've got an 87 Custom Cruiser I'm looking at putting a 350 in.

  • All SBO are externally the same for 1968 to 1990. If you use the same transmission you don't need to get a new drive shaft, but the 200 R4 will not be able to handle the torque that a 350 will put out

  • I have a th400 tranny in the car and I needed a shorter driveshaft since the 400 is longer than the 200r4. Just get motor mounts for your "Cruiser" and you might have to use the 307 manifolds like I did, but in 1/2 way thru 85, they became not too flowing. Check eBay for exhaust manifolds that exit in the rear and not the middle

  • "the 200 R4 will not be able to handle the torque that a 350 will put out"

With modifications it should. They use them in 10 second Grand Nationals. Besides the 200R4 is light and has overdrive.

  • Yes I agree now, I didn't when I wrote this comment

  • Haha its a one wheel wonder. Like mine.

  • I'm really surprised you were able to keep the burnout going for so long and not roll forward. You put line locks in the cars?

Also surprised it didn't pop one of the tires.

  • No line locks. HA the brakes where smoking too. I already need new rear brakes so it doesn't bother me. If I held the burnout a few seconds longer the tire probably wold have blew.

With the 2000 stall, it hits about 2300 RPMs before it starts spinning

  • that the 350 rocket, thay olds is bad ass.
