Having just watched Mark Webber on the latest episode of Australia's Greatest Athlete, I can pretty much say with absolute certainty that his "F1 paddock" accent comes across as deliberately 'less Aussie'. The way he forces clearer pronounciation on some words in this vid compared to how he spoke in Greatest Athlete sounds almost awkward.
