Who told her to sing this in English? The lyrics may have made sense in French, but a direct translation into English is absurd. Why do music producers think that an English audience will only accept songs in English? A foreign language can actually add a sense of mystery that makes a song more appealing than it really should be.

It's worth learning French Just to appreciate it in the Original. It is hard to RE-Rhyme. Words chosen for Rymes cause some of a songs Ideas and so that makes some translations Impossible ..They rewrote "Im Fed Up" to be slightly different in meaning and it worked because of good lyrics..I give This a C+ only because I think Alize'e sang it.

As ridiculous as this translation is, it's the least bizarre of all the English translations on that album. I mean, nothing can ever top her being forced to sing she's "foamly ecstatic!" in "I'm Fed Up," and in another song, the lyrics are so dumb (moo shu shu or somesuch) she starts laughing!

Have to agree french version is better. The lyrich in English is very simple. It also seems they just have taken the French lyrics and translated it directly without regards that wordplays in some language dosen't make any sense in another langauge. Theirs not the same flow in the English version as in French one.
