I realize that this is a kind of trance state. However can anyone explain a little more about it? For example, is it a certain practice in Algeria? are they are specific religious group? It is very shamanistic and reminds me of the "Zar". Am I on the right track?
I have never since such a false history like this one. Working in the sotuh of spain fields, corssing Maroco border...ja, ja, ja, ja. A great shit for your eyes. If you believe this history you are watching too much films, try to look outside, try to go to work to the country and try to cross maroco-argelian border.
In the south of Morocco, exist a sort of Music called Gnawa, a mixed of Berber-african music which has the same rythem( which is in fact the Gnawa music in this scene) as in this scene!
sometimes it's associated with Boujlloud tradition!
estaba pensando... in a way, this scene and the whole movie have made me change my perception of cinema (and I've been watching movies for some time now)
