  • I realize that this is a kind of trance state. However can anyone explain a little more about it? For example, is it a certain practice in Algeria? are they are specific religious group? It is very shamanistic and reminds me of the "Zar". Am I on the right track?

    In the south of Morocco, exist a sort of Music called Gnawa, a mixed of Berber-african music which has the same rythem( which is in fact the Gnawa music in this scene) as in this scene!

    sometimes it's associated with Boujlloud tradition!
