  • @loudfastrulez Their Country music is soo Kickass, i love this band becaus of this mix! This Music and another like "Brother" for one Band? AMAZING!!

  • This is the day I met my honey! Oh my god. Showing him right now...(He's Vince, and yes...he's fucking adorable.)

  • i'm sure this would have been great if i was there, but i think it loses its potency with the recording... oh well.

  • This is one of the greatest jam sessions of all time.

  • This is fucking epic.

  • this is the MBD i love, not the country folk whatever they do now. its not terrible but its not nearly as good as this

  • when i saw this like 4 years ago i immediately fell in love with this band. one of my all time favorites

  • I llove this band, but when the keyboardist left the sound changed.

  • love MBD. I went to hellfest this year with they were on, although its a Metal festival.

  • la la la

  • That was...there are no words.

  • 6:16 respect......

  • i hear a hunter

  • such a great instrumental

  • wow what a trip. i saw this band open for thursday in 03 and by the time thursday came out everyone in the crowd was completely exhausted and just sitting down. actually quite funny, the singer said something about it and no one moved.. amazing band. i wish he hadnt gone to the johnny cash style vocals tho.. oh well. good post

  • yea i wish there piano player didn't leave either. but there still a good band overall just different

  • @ChiefinCheba definitely

  • i would recommend this dvd to anyone.

  • wait, there's a dvd?

  • i dont remember the name of it a friend of mine got it at hellfest and we used to chill and watch it

  • what dvd?

  • im tripping out man!

  • hahah.. wtf is wrong with everybody in the crowd?!

I woulda been all over the place rocking the fuck outttttttttttttttttttt lol

  • was the same way the first time i saw them. everyone was. dude, it just sucks you in hearing this shit, you cant move.. too beautiful, especially since your like, holy fuck, ive never even heard of this band...

  • It sounds like the theme music from Zeitgeist almost..

    lol at the beginning anyway

    GREAT FUCKING BAND.

  • where is the 2nd part?

  • what pedals is using the bassist?

  • Alex was the best, I miss him. Vince too. Such a good lineup this was.

  • Also, why did they turn Sarah down so much? This could have been one of their best live recordings, but I can't hear Sarah at all, and I can't hear Adam for most of it.

  • So, I was going to a random Reverend Horton Heat concert because my friend won tickets from a radio station, and I was her only friend who had liked the rev pre-guitar hero. I hear this band "Murder By Death" is playing beforehand, I think "Great, I'ma have to sit through some two-bit psychobilly or hardcore sideshow." And then they played and I about pooed my pants. If it wasn't for the Rev's three costume changes and his bassist literally riding his bass, I'd say these guys shoulda headlined.

  • I love mureder by death! But the sound quality isn't that good... =\

  • the drums carry this tune, all through out.

everything else is just antics.. still FUCKING ROCKS \m/

  • yeah the drums really do

that's what i like about this song

  • cuz they're the only post rock songs? faggot! hahahaha!

  • how can you even say that

  • this band kiss more than ass thay kick ass whole with the likeness of a ballpoint hammer.

  • I don't think that's even english.

  • holy fuck! this rocks my twat

  • Still one of my absolute favorite videos of them... though wasn't "Those Who Stayed" performed right after?

  • Yeah i have this dvd and it lists the both of them on there.

  • Go buy In Bocca al Lupo, its fucking incredible, they do sing, just not in all of their songs.

More people need to listen to MBD.

I don't even know how you can even compare this band to My Chemical Romance, by any means.

If you don't like them, don't watch the video or listen to them.

  • Holy shit man, Youtube comments are so bad...

  • Yeah, you've got MCR videos in your favorites.

  • And in case you weren't sure what I mean by saying that: it looks a bit hypocritical to call this band posers when you're (apparently) favorite band is mass marketed to appeal to teenage girls with self esteem issues.

  • onos! if there are no words, how am i supposed to know what the song is about???

  • "onos! if there are no words, how am i supposed to know what the song is about??? "

Congrats on making the most unenlightened comment I've ever seen on Youtube

  • wow you ears must really hate you for making them listen to shitty music

  • what??

i never said it was shitty i meen to do play pretty good,

i just really dont like there style.

  • lol you tit box

  • they aren't jamming all that much, this song is recorded. there is some room for improv, but they are playing it close to as is on like the exorcist

  • sarah balliet (cello player) is the secret weapon. i met this entire band after a show once, and they are the coolest people alive.

  • wow! this is pretty great. are all of their songs this good?

  • yes ! i think so

  • The only way I can describe this song is "Should be playing over the credits of a slasher movie right after the last scene where you see the dead body of the killer twitch or something, so you know he's not dead."

  • I saw these guys open for Poison the Well a few years ago at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit, they were awesome. Their performance was much more inspired then the rest of the opening acts.

  • that was awesome, these guys will always be one of my favorite bands. hahaha, the balls they had to go out and play what they play at Hellfest. They totally rule. Glad the crowd was into it.

  • Beware the floating cello bow.

  • what the hell is mbd doing at hellfest!? thats where bands like the locust, lamb of god, and killswitch play!

  • this song reminds me of Gorillaz for some reason. I love both bands, but it reminds me of some of Gorillaz "noise" tracks.

    Good stuff though.

  • If you like this and Gorillaz, you should check out Pink Floyd. They're basically the fathers of this kind of music.

  • i saw these guys twice that's funny that they played at hellfest but cool. yeah and the chello player is hot, if not only BECAUSE she plays chello and for this band.

  • Chello? Seriously?

  • gahahahahahahhahahaha

    ...chello

  • is the pianist on drugs or something?

  • No just feels the music

  • This is solid music.

  • at around 3:50 dude is tuning with the capo on. stupid left hand guitarist! just kidding i love this band...to murder by death! i love this band to death. ha!

  • awsome except for some reason watching a left handed guitarist bothers the shit outta me.

  • Reminds me of Godspeed! you Black Emporer and some of the other Constellation Records bands... But that's a really good thing.

  • That was fuckin' awesome! It's a side of 'em I've never seen before.

  • wtf is wrong with just jamming? thats when you come up with music that has the most legitimate feeling, not when you play some re-written, edited bullshit.

  • im sorry to anyone who likes in bocca al lupo, but do not even make an attempt to say that murder by death has gotten better.

  • Are you serious? In bocca al lupo may not be the best but atleast they stopped being a jam band. The piano and cello are good in this, but guitar bass and drums jamming out is so boring.

  • Obviously you dont know music

  • They haven't gotten better or worse, they've just evolved.

  • Finally! Someone with some sense. Forget the wannabe Johnny Cash bull and just rock!
