@jigibao I agree, wasted two years of my life and what they don't tell you about the industry is that if you put in over 2 years and have taken a break from the industry, you might not be credited for time put in. Kind sad where the industry is at today. On the otherside of things I did like the traveling but knew it was a dead end.
@shaithis80 it is the system for them to KEEP you driving...they need modern slaves...go back to school and take normal job end normal life... truck driver gets NO respect from nobody, no police,no schefs,no dispatch, nobass,no clients,no customs,no people...forget this piece of shitt job...i wasted 22jears DONT DO THE SAME !!! P L E A S E ......
@jigibao at the rate you're going I seriously doubt you've spent time in the industry if you can't even spell. On the flip side I carry a CDL Class A license. But that doesn't necessarily gain you employment if you have a gap in experienced. Depends on the numbers I guess but finding work arounds to an employment shortage by outsourcing beyond U.S. borders is shameful and the big companies will never shape up LOL!
@shaithis80 think what you want but i started on trucks wich are shame to mention today, end "jess" today truck's are luxury..BUT as i sad 22jears of expiriance... now i dont know wich level of driving licence is for you but i drive allways trucs with trailer +15ton..... cheers...
@jigibao okay so your page says you are from Belgium. You don't have a say in U.S. trucking and I doubt you are that familiary with the FMCSR. I don't know how it is over in Europe but it is a little bit different out this way but yes European and American truckers probably find some common ground with depressed wages and unfair treatment. Sorry to hear about the European plight. However I'm not giving up my trucker's license anytime soon as I can use it again down the road as last resort.
@jigibao my excuse is your poor grammar and spelling. Are you from overseas or something? You are commenting on a U.S. post and am I to understand that you are a U.S. truck driver. If you are commenting from another country, then you have no say in U.S. trucking. Hmm as far as that last comment you do seem to understand English as you typed that question pretty well so what the fuck LOL!
a good video, Hello my name is Jorge, I'm Portuguese, I am a professional chauffeur with 4 million km and never had accidents.14years on refrigerator transport. Can I get a license in use? how can I contact any company to drive in use? Thank you. wait a Reply. @jorge.m.fonseca
To all you newbies wanting to drive a truck. Do yourself a favor. Talk to a driver that has been doing the job for at LEAST 20 years, and listen to what they have to tell you. Ask them what they would do if they could start over, and if they could, would they drive a truck. Don't believe what the company recruiters tell you, as they are paid a bonus for everyone they push through. Stay in school, join the army, make something out of your life. Been there, ate that, remember the flavor.
Yeah right, freedom? Were you pushing a desk, or are you just a poser? You have no freedom in a truck. If you were indeed a "cop", you should know this.
@shaithis80 free my ass... the folow you on satelite end count every second of your life.... NO FREEDOM... when i stop for koffie i get phone caal "why you stop"??? bastard's... fuck truck driving...
@jigibao see my earlier comment, FREE BECAUSE YOU'RE DUMB LOL! No shit they track you and if it is a high valued load, sometimes a tracking device can be packed with the cargo. However you do have the power not to take a load or push it if you are too tired and that is one thing I never let the man do to me.
TRUCK DRIVER IS LOW PAYED JOB THAT DONT GET YOU NOWHERE...TRUST ME IM DRIVING 22YEARS END HATE EVERY BIT OF IT.. GO BACK TO SCHOOL...
