@bigpoo113 In StepMania 3.9 and 3.95 you can via the editor by going under 0. The alternative way to make them is to add a BPM change and another like 7 beats after, then open your SM file and putting the negative BPM you want. Save and use "Revert to disk". (the second one works for negative pauses too. V³ uses it.)

its called negative bpm. when you do a negative bpm and then you do 4 beats later a positive again, it skips 8 beats from the starting of the negative bpm. its fixed in 3.9 and higher.

that was pretty impressive cos of 3 things:

1: i can only do tsupseudogamush on light and get AA, i cant even last 30 secs on standard.

2: all of family farce's tsu songs are insanely hard for their level, like seriously, a 10 star/foot (whatever) song on standard!

3: and tsu songs all change beats at strange parts of the song.

on the other hand, all tsu song have the same beat going to it, its pretty cool i gotta say but it is a bit annoying hearing it in different tones.

How the hell do you write steps that are mines that turn into steps when they hit the top? "Grip" did something similar where the steps appeared only halfway up, but they weren't mines, they just weren't there. I'm serious, I want to know the technical details! This stuff interests me. :D

its negative BPM, but if you want to try it takes a lot of trial-and-error to get it to warp to the right part in the song i.e. at one measure make the bpm say -50 and the next measure after that, make it what it was before, then play through the song in the level editor to see what beat it goes to. hope that helps! ;)
