The Dodge SRT-10 and the Ford SVT Lightning both have high performance engines, and I think we can all agree neither are sports cars. Insurance companies care more about specs, then types.

Most people who think cobra think of the terminators. And yes those will set you back 18-20k.

That is wrong to a substantial degree. Car parts aren't expensive because of more shops. Parts become expensive when the car had a low amount of sales. For instance, if the 370z only sold 10,000 cars in five years and a camaro sold 50,000 the camaro will more than likely have cheaper parts. Parts aren't based on shops, but pure demand and supply. If jap cars cost less it's because it had a large popularity. Honda/Acura/Nissan made alot of cheap cars making it easy to obtain.

It's not the size of the engine or what wheels that the power goes to that matters man. My cousin's RSX-S beats camaros(z28) and Mustang GT's it doesn't matter the size. Different aspects of a count other than the engine. I can build my b16 to run 9's all motor. OR 5-600hp turboed.

But it matters whether the integra is a gsr or if its a lower model with a swap(which i think it is) but anyway im not sure on the swap he may have (including the car) 5 or 6 grand. depends on what quality parts really.

Most people who think cobra think of the terminators. And yes those will set you back 18-20k.

well i agree with you on that, American motors do not make efficient engines, however when you say 200hp V6 then thats cool, the new mustang v6 makes 215hp, but ill tell you this.... the H22 honda makes 225 hp and 130lb ft of torque.... id much rather have 225hp and 300 lb ft of torque, which ur only gonna see from a v8, and if Muscle cars made 100hp/liter than the car wouldnt be street legal, hence 454= 7.4 Liter= 740hp, yeah

Never owned a honda but i see them broke down on the side of the road all the time, and as far as cost of parts, a Waterpump for a 5.0 Mustang is roughly $50, the onlything that is expensive the V8 insurance and horrible gas mileage that you obviously can't afford so thats why you drive a shitty honda.... oh and a news flash, the muscle car era ended at the beginning of the 80s....

That is wrong to a substantial degree. Car parts aren't expensive because of more shops. Parts become expensive when the car had a low amount of sales. For instance, if the 370z only sold 10,000 cars in five years and a camaro sold 50,000 the camaro will more than likely have cheaper parts. Parts aren't based on shops, but pure demand and supply. If jap cars cost less it's because it had a large popularity. Honda/Acura/Nissan made alot of cheap cars making it easy to obtain.
