I'd a really slow computer before, took atleast 4 - 6 mins for the ambulance to get the harbor in the lower right corner of the map ,.. now it takes 30 secs. - I'd to increase my own human respons to each incident, victims loses health alot quicker too. :)

yeah i hate mine of how it loks like its skipping.

I dont know how to increase speed though to make the game better.

what you call skipping is lagging, cursed due to the hardware is working at it's maximum.

- well, I went from a pc with the specs; Intel Celeron 2.5Ghz, 2 GB DDR2 RAM, 80GB HDD, Radeon 9600 256 mb video card to Intel Dou Core 3.0 GHz, 8 GB DDR2 RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce Nvidia 9800GT 512 MB,.. The speed of the game increases when you got more hardware then required.

Then open the file with the mod installer. When done, start the game, go to modification in the menu, load the LA Mod and wait for it to load.

I don't think that EM4 is made for the MAC OS at all,. none that I've heard of.

yes, catalyst 9.1 and i've got 6 gb of ddr2 1066 so i think vram is not the problem ;-)

I don't know what the problem could be :S shouldn't be a problem, . try to install it in a different drive then C:\ - and don't use default mapnames :) - I Don't promise it will work, but sometimes it does :S

no it's vista 32 bit and i've also got xp on a partition... i try to reinstall it but i'm not sure if works...

There is the problem. Vista 32bit only supports 4 Gigs of RAM - VRAM incl. You need Vista 64 Home Premium supports 16 Gigs. :)

i know but vista 64 really suck in my opinion and i'm returned to 32 bits... but i think 4 gigs are enough for emergency 4!!!

Your VRAM decrease - problaly because of the XP parition. Your Pc might only use the 3 gigs that XP supports.

it's really strange because hd4850 is better than 9800gt... and i'm sure that my athlon x2 6400+ isn't bottlenecking the graphic card...

well, I've 8 Gigs of DDR2 Ram, .. ;) so my GFX card is up to 2.5 GB VRAM :P

have you update your drivers?

Might be you're hardware. upgrade it. it runs perfectly on my pc and loads the la mod after a minute and the map after 30 sec.

I'm really pissed at such a game like this, it doesn't run so smooth on my computer, well the LA Mod anyway. Fucking sucks.
