  • omg i cant even roll with a deck yet!

  • good work. wow, i'll have to force myself to try that.

  • I'll have to try this as soon as I can do it with the skirt and pfd.

  • i thought he was scandinavian by that accent......

  • Can we see it with the hatches open?

  • Water temp is still in the 40s here....think I'll wait on summer to even try.

  • Nice work that was awesome

  • As you can see, I've got a 14 foot Tsumani. It is fairly stable with 6" of water in in. I have paddled a half mile or more with that much water and had no problem....you just have to be careful. I learned without a skirt, so I don't really know the difference. My learning-to-roll trick was hanging upside down underwater near the ladder on the dock and learning to right myself using my hand rather than a paddle. Once I learned the technique, the paddle came easy. Good luck!

  • Thanks for answering Msharpan,

I will practice like you told me,

I've seen how you teach kids to play the harmonica, very nice gesture,

  • One additional note: While hanging at the ladder, remember to right the boat first, then comes the torso, and the face should be last out of the water. Keeping the face in the water is easier if you right the boat twice in a row.

And...a skirt is a really good idea, isn't it?

  • Mr Sharpman,

    Thanks for the lesson!

I have some problems when water gets into the kayak while I roll,

    It loses much stability,

can you give me some advice? I am a beginner
