Man, there are a LOT of spelling errors in those credits... Not just the English, but even some of the Japanese names are misspelled. All that money on locations and special effects and even star power payrolls... but nothing for a competent English consultant for their international release? I mean, the dubbing is fine, but c'mon! They could at least get a professional Japanese-English translator to consult the credits so that there's not so many errors! Jeez...

Also the very original movie monster, Gojira was caused by nuclear testing, witch could have come from either the USA or the Soviet Union. Most likely US though. The concept for the movie came about because the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the Daigo Fukuryū Maru was still fresh in the memories of Japanese

Destroyah...Im sorry,....DESTROYAAAHHHH!!! yeah, Desroyah scared the shit out of me as a kid.I was actully shedding tears when godzilla died, mom my was watching with me, she was pretty upset as well, especially when godzilla tried to mourn his so, but then when godzilla junior was in full form at the end I was so fucking happy!!

The entire way i see it, the following 90s films in this order are a one giant sequel to 1954: Godzilla 1985, Godzilla vs Mothra Battle for Earth, Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla(1994), Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla, and Godzilla vs Destroyah. Yep pretty much you now know what i mea as sson as you watch those films, and no matter how the order went I consider Godzilla vs Biollante and vs. King Ghidorah non canon. reason: too much plotholes

All of the 90's films have uncut International credits, but all of them ( GODZILLA VS. KING GHIDORAH (1991)-GODZILLA VS. DESTOROYAH (1995) were replaced with Sony's video generated credits on the VHS and DVD releases here in the States (that don't even include end credits!). Cable airings of these films sometimes featured the full credits, as seen here.

They just didn't feel as theatrical as the credits in Godzilla 2000, Godzilla 1985, Godzilla vs Biollante, and then it hit me on the head like a ton of bricks. Sony used Windows Movie Maker to create those godawful titles in the Heisei films. Moviemaker! How cheap is that?

Pathetic, isn't it? What's worse is that Sony still uses these versions on online streaming sites such as Netflix, and Crackle.com. Out of nowhere, the uncut versions of SPACEGODZILLA and DESTOROYAH appeared on Crackle (SG only lacks end credits), while the first three 90's films on there still feature the truncated Sony credits. I have no idea what that's all about.

@MxGardiner There are rumors that Sony will re-release the 90's films with Japanese language tracks and accurate subtitles (they hinted at the possibility of it about a year or so ago), but they more than likely wait for LGP's new Godzilla film to drop before they bother with that, which makes perfect business sense. I actually found Russian torrents of GvsKG(91') and GvsM(92') which feature the International English credits..so I know they do exist. GvsMG(93') Int. credits are even more rare.

I heard from Keith Aiken that Sony is planning a Heisei boxset to tie in with the release of Legendary Pictures' film in 2012.
