It does not make you an honourable man at all, it makes you more of a monster, the transition of Frank Castle to the Punisher is easier for him because he has combat experience and has lost his family. It has nothing to do with him being too deep at all. If it did, he would have pretended to be dead.

Thomas Jane's Punisher was the best. I thought Warzone was just another comic book movie that lacked anything besides cool shooting scenes and SFX. Jane was able to bring life to a character, showing that he's more than just a killing machine and nothing else. The overall sadness that Jane's character developed really made the movie that much more engrossing. I wish they had left the scene in the theatrical version where he makes his old partner kill himself.

It wasn't a sequel, and it's all about the changing of Castle because he's about to lose his endurance, his faith, his faith in his purpose, etc. In Warzone, you see the Punisher, who's slowly changing back to Frank Castle. It has much more to say, it's way more mature than the 2004 movie - which is almost like a Disney film. Oh, and Warzone is more true to the original plot, to the original Punisher.
