When I watched the dawn of the dead remake, I didn't know it was a remake. I have respect for Romero's film, but with all the slow moving zombies, I don't see how can this movie be scary man.

Overwhelming numbers-only takes one little bite. Slow zombies take their time and draw the apocalypse out. And remember the effects for their time were pretty damn disturbing (and still are in m y opinion).
