  • This is truly a lovely performance. But it makes me wonder: why do we, as humans, like putting on spectacles like this? Half a dozen Christmas trees, boys choir marching in, choir singing their heads off...and check out the look on the conductor's (Williams?) face

    0:56 - he's like - ok..."Who's idea was this?"

2:19 he gets his second wind

3:26 "Are we still singing this?

4:04 "Well we've made it this far now, and everyone's doing a great job, let's just finish."

    4:57 Done and done! Boo-yah!

  • @TrekkieBear Ceremonies, rituals, processions and spectacles connect us to order, creativity, a sense of specialness or extra-ordinariness, and connectedness. They punctuate everyday life in memorable, exciting ways. This music is grand and jubilant. It wouldn't be the same if performed by a few people, sitting still.

  • Rousing blend of voices and instruments Thanks for posting this moving piece.

  • Estupendo documento histórico recuperado. El concierto tradicional de Navidad del American Boychoir en Boston suele ser algo impresionante

    Thanks a lot !!
