@beasyIV Yes. no idea what tjjavier is on about, if you burn it in mp3 format no it wont. but if you just burn it as an audio cd, it will convert to .wav format and it will work in any cd player. i've never seen the point of having mp3 cd's anyway, id rather have a folder of 128 cds than 1 cd with 128 tracks. then i can browse through them naturally rather than staring at my display as i press >>
i dont know how you guys get used to these things. i dont mind the whole digital aspects, but the fact that the platter doesnt move. i tried these and several others and i couldnt get used to the non direct drive style. i had a hard time getting it back to the same cue. just didnt feel right.
The difference is that the 800 replaced certain features from the 1000 like the beat cutter instead of hot starts. The CDJ-800 is also a little bit modified. It doesn't have a memory card slot for saving cue and loop points. It also has a quick return feature meaning when you set a cue point as the audio is released, when you touch the platter it automatically goes back to the cue point. Of course the 800 is a couple of hundred dollars cheaper. It's the baby brother to the CDJ-1000.
greatest decks ever i love them scratchin is so crisp just like vynal. and to answer the question on if the play mp3 i kno the cdjmk2 are mp3 compatible

On the MK1's, unfortunately they wont. In the 800 series, MP3's are only compatible with the MK2's

So.. what is the difference between the 1000 and the 800. Is price the deal or is there more to it since the 800 came out after the 1000?
EdenCheng3 3 years ago
the 1000's have all the same stuff but it also had a usb drive
italiagangster 3 years ago
Nice... I guess the future will be all digital..
EdenCheng3 3 years ago
i thought 1000's had more effects....or are they basically the same?
i'm thinking about getting two of these
lukeee33 3 years ago
The 1000s have sd card slots on them. Plus you can adjust the sensitivity on the jog wheel. My m8 has 2 1000s n i've got 2 800's.
