@aradcam Scotland might not have lived up to there ability when they got there.But we made 5 world cups in a row,from 74 to 90.Ireland have and never will manage to do that.We have also been to others.54,98 we were there to.Also we have the highest co co eficency of all time,from the 18th century for about 30 years when destroying England.We also have been ranked 14th in the world under Smith.We were in a play of 8 years before that.Big deal U lost.We almost did it with,FRANCE,ITALY,UKRAINE init

@aradcam I agree not ever Rangers fan supports the union.I would be glad if Ireland,was united again.But only if they people really wanted it.I have never been to Ireland.I should do though,as the final year of my pass port is almost up.I have nothing against the Irish.If I was Irish,no doubt I would want to live in a Irish republic.Just like I want to live in a Scots one.Religion should never be mixed up with politics or football.I feel as if more non Glasgow folk seem to bring it up more low.

@aradcam We played under the situation in the 74 World cup.They played God Save the Queen,as our national anthem.Before the Yugoslavia match.I do not condone any song,that is about crushing a nation.Its I song that disgusts me even as a Rangers fan.I would rather live in a republic.The Queen and her lot have done nothing for mines.And we would never ask them to.In a way though,it was not there fault to be born into that family.It was just a cosmic roll of the dice.Its no better than cast system.

@aradcam Good luck to Ireland to.In getting to the play offs.If we do it though.I am sure there will be easier teams in the draw.So lets hope we play one of those,and we both make it.And maybe play each other in the finals.The draw for the next cup looks interesting.There is a lot of beatable teams in the group above us.And a lot of teams below us,that are worth a bit of worry about.Belgium and Poland are there.I would not want any of those sides,Belgium have some top drawer players so they do.

I speek our Irish nation language fluently which I have heard has many aspects in common with you Scots language. Irish dance & music have many things in common with Scots. We also have WHISKEY or WHISKY how you spell it.Football wise I believe you should copy Ireland and except any person who wish to play for you, regardless of where their born. Germany & France do!

@aradcam We are doing that just now.We are going over to USA even to find guys of Scots parentage.There is a kid playing for LA Galaxy that we want,think he is only 17.And the boy Humphrie the flying machine Motherwell winger,who was born in Jamaica is can play for us to.He pulled out there squad when they called him up.So fingers crossed he wants to play for us.He is meant to have Liverpool,Everton,Newcastle,Bolton.All looking to sign him.So he is one for the future,think he is only turned 23.

@legandrydirk The IRA were the only protection catholic people from N Ireland had from the British Army and evil Police Force (RUC). I don't agree with all the IRA actions but British Army forces done as much bad as the IRA. N Ireland people can be Irish citizens (Good Friday Agreement) we are not stealing from the North. Opting to play for Ireland is just the type of attitude that damages the Scotland. I'm proud of being Scots and I have Irish blood in me, Ireland is my second home. However, it is a disgrace that this man is more proud of his Irish roots than his own native country. It is a chioce that is based on ignorance and bigotory, that is all too aparent in west central scotland. It's time to quit the singing of the Sash and your IRA songs! Soar Alba, Erin Go Bragh!
