Good tie. I prefer to use a tapered hackle for the body - if you look at Stimis tied by Umpqua, they do use different sized hackle for body and head.

cool! i tie my yellow stimmies more as an attractor. yellow body, tan hackle and a red thorax. one of my favorite dry flies
