FL Studio Audio Interface Setup

Hey, I have a problem with the audio setup with my m-audio fast track pro and fl studio.

When I click on the drop down list of the audio settings in fl studio, I don't see the option where it says m-audio usb ASIO. Instead, it shows an option that says m-audio autophile. What can I do to fix this? When I click on the option, a message pops up its says: not enough ASIO output channels available. At least two channels are avaliable. Help please!

HI im having trouble on seting up my M-Audio Fast Track to Fl Studio, the drivers for it are all up to date and when tray to select the M-Audio USB ASIO its not on drop down list, instead its says M-Audio audiophile, could you help me out with that? please! great video!!! Thanks.

@TheKingofKH your audio interface has nothing to do with VST load times. If you want faster loads, you need a faster hard drive, more RAM, and a more optimized machine.

In FL Studio, when i render/export the audio of certain VST's, some of the midi notes are cutoff. For example a drum cymbal will immediately be cut off instead of ringing out like I want it to. Any idea what settings I need to adjust to fix that?

@Jmbgtr Is this at the end of a MIDI part? Set your loop export to go beyond the end of the end of the MIDI region - if it's cutting off prematurely, it's because of that.

@Lowiebeatz you bought a digidesign audio interface? You should be able to use it with FL, make sure you have the proper drivers installed for it.

I have a Presonus usb audiobox interface installed but I don't see it in my system tray. I know it's working because my studio monitors work just fine. How can I adjust my buffer settings if I can't see the icon in my system tray? FL Studio seems to make popping sounds when I try to playback a project I recorded. I'm just not sure what my settings should be. Thanks!

@plod78 check your windows control panel for an audiobox control panel, or if you can, find a button for accessing the control panel for the audio interface from FL studio.

hey mate Just have a problem with my fast track on fl studio:S, mine actually works in fl studio but there is some cpu crash and pops any idea how to remove this kind of issue? Fast track is one of the greatest sound card it's not supposed to do that when using it in fl....:S

hi mate , thanks for the video i just clicked to make sure u could actually get an interface working in fl . think im gunna get either shure sm57 or 58, and i need an interface , im a rapper and i want to make cd quality songs , would there interface price effect this recording . in other words would i have to buy an expensive interface even with a really good quality microphone. thanks

@techn9nekaliko I would put more money into your mic than your interface, just get a simple interface that will do the job, such as one made by Presonus, they are very inexpensive and very powerful. Good luck to you!

ok... i got the tascam us-122.. i hooked it up to fl studio before.. but no sound.. nothing ..i go to show asio.. and it is showing that i have everything setup correctly.. but no sound.. any thoughts?

i've got the saffire 6 usb, working with FL too, but there isn't any asio defices of it, before it did, but i had to reinstall saffire 6 usb driver for some reasons, when i reinstalled it, it only got Directsound devices =[

can some1 help me with this?? =D

this setting is on 24bit, or still remain in 16bit? When i chose Fast Track out 1/2 from Direct Sound Devices, below it says " Status: open, set to 44100hz , 16bit stereo " , but if i chose M-Audio USB ASIO , there's no mention about 24bit.

can someone please help me, i have the fast track pro as well and downloaded the drivers and did everything this tutorial says and its saying * the asio sample rate is not supported by one of the USB inferfaces!.PLease check your sync settings in the control panel. *Then it says not enough ASIO output channels available. at least 2 channels are needed* should i go to the settings and change them or keep them as default..someone suggest something please. thank you

@XPetiePieX most computer soundcards do not have MIDI in them. You need an audio interface with MIDI.

i got a question since your name is Tutor ;p i got 2 CPU's right....downloaded fl studio same type on it but on this CPU the basic soundpacks don't work so i copy n pasted the WORKING basic soundpack from my other CPU on this one and still don' t work BUT packs i download on this CPU work perfectly except the basic ones i hope you got an answer tot hat cause im clueless i mean hey im writing this on youtube as a last resort thx =p

Great tutorial btw I srt of need help, coz I wanna connect a mixer to a audio interface but the mixer has a usb conneciton ?

@ObediaTutor Well the mixer is BCF2000 and currently it just connects straight to Pc usb port. But if I introduce a audio interface would i have to connect the mixer to the interface or can it just remain connected to Pc.
