@Fanpireof08 i beleive there is a cable that can be added to the stils so you can rest on them while still looking like your standing. however this cable would restrict how much you would be able to bend your knees. which is why i never added it. it is supposed to attach somewhere in the back but i no longer remember how. and also use really strong bungee chords or springs on the back so they last longer. the ones shown are not very good.
@DandoVor you can run in the stilts quite easily infact( i would however suggset using stronger bungie cords or springs for running), but for me i found it hard to stop. at the time of this video i was unsure if it would break or not from running( i'm a beginer with the stilts) so i tried not to runn too much. but at my final video i had found that it was ok to run around(from running away from or chasing older kids pulling at my costume tail).all i can say for that stopping is do it carefully
actually as soon as i finish the top i'm moving on to another costume. which will be a transformer costume (possibly the ghostbusters car, but it still is in the planing stage). i figured that i would make something thats a little less tireing to walk in, and cheaper on the budget. But thanks for offering the advice anyway! :))
My sister actually suggested it but i haven't quite figured out how to attach the foam to the pants. part of the prob is that i already glued it, but oh well i'll figure something out.....eventually. thanks for the comment!
So what would you use for long term?

Very Cool, been looking to see how that type of stilt does on unpaved ground. Can't wait till I get mine finished
