i luv the way how he couturefied the blazer, how he gave more sensuality into his work wifout losin the structure & details he developed in the past few seasons, eventho nearly the whole collection is white, he still manage 2 make interestin dresses wif color , i luv the nude colored fish scaled dress (my fave) & the metallic gold on the fringe dress, i wept when i 1st saw the collection

To those who are complaining that Riccardo's couture collections are starting to be repetitive, he sticks to his guns because clients want it that way and couture does not necessarily have to follow the trends you see in prêt-à-porter. Couture, as Riccardo mentioned, is an investment and thus being too experimental will not translate into sales. What good is an experimental, brightly-colored couture collection that took so much time in making (like Dior's) if no one will buy it?

Mind blowing is an understatement. Riccardo saved haute couture week. It would really be a huge loss for Givenchy if he goes to Dior, but it would be interesting what he would do with Dior haute couture since the workmanship and detailing on his clothes are amazing. I wouldn`t mind seeing a little gothicism and religious references on a Dior haute couture show.
