  • The winning post was the one which we thought was most entertaining. It was posted by @fairbypikes who wrote.

"As a centre, I must have screwed something up for my fullback to come head-on with a prop. My advise to the fullback - Pull off a no armed spear tackle and take a straight red on the chin, then buy the prop a pint after the game for being a b****** earlier on.

Well done @fairbypikes, you have won a jersey of your choice.

  • Sorry, the competition is now closed – Make sure you subscribe to our Channel to make sure you don’t miss out on our next YouTube competition.

The winner will be revealed on Tuesday 29th November. Good luck everyone.

  • ''Do not kick, run it... For ye hath two strong hands with which to catch, pass and binge drink!''

  • Always rely on the forwards to win the game...

  • if in doubt, run forwards, pass backwards and tackle low

  • Fat or thin, big or small, in Rugby there's always a place for all.

  • Right or wrong, props are the salt of the earth!

  • The ref is always right, even when he is not.

  • Always back yourself, keep driving your legs, and treasure every inch you make up the field. Never back down!

  • Don't kick Run it!

  • as a prop running over the full back is good advice if you one on one....just make sure you aim for the space not for the man!!

  • Make your first hit of the match early, whether it is late or not.

  • Best advice on any big player?

I used to be one of them. Instead, I've grown up rather than out, so I'm very skinny.

When you did see a massive prop/lock/No.8, my advice is go for the Knees.

It might take some practise, as too high will end up with a thigh in your shoulder and a certain try, but if you aim and hit just right, hopefully you can pop one or both knees out! Bullseye! Don't do this much in training though; you wan tto hurt the opposition, not your mates.

  • @JDAS6995 Thats fucking harsh, I hope somebody does that to you, prick.

  • @JDAS6995 People like you shouldn't play rugby.

  • @MrBaconSTRlPS I just quoted my coach, and ex-Marine and French Foreign Legion Soldier. He isn't one to play with ribbon in his hair. But that's the good thing about rugby; someone pucnhes you in the face during a match but afterwards you're sharing a drink with him. My fingers were hyer-extended in one match. Did I cry? no I just played on

  • @JDAS6995 I dont give a fuck who you quote, go quote a pile of shit for all I care. Deliberately dislocating someones knee is clearly a move of a complete dick.

If I ever have the joy of playing against you, and you dislocate my knee deliberately and maliciously, I don't think I'd 'share a drink with you' afterwards, I think I'd knock you're lights out and put you through a window, after I have recovered obviously.

    You're a fucking idiot.

  • Hit Hard, Hit Low, Hit Again!

  • In rugby everyone can do anything the key is to back yourself trust your ability and be confidant. Never watch the play and wait for it to come to you be active know your roll with in the team and then just do a little extra and you will never loss.

  • As a Winger/Centre/fullback, sometimes you will have to tackle that Big Forward so my advise is called the ring of steel, so what you do is this you go low stay strong and wrap your arms around his Lower legs the slide down to the ankles and keep tight.

If you are a weak tackler and you want to get him down then run to the side the forward and just Slap the feet but you must time it right otherwise it will fail.

If you are a Hard hitter then hit the upper knees and smash that Prop :D

  • Thanks for your comments guys, there is some really good advice here. The competition is running until Friday 25th November and so there is still time to get your entries in.

  • As a prop I know its rare we get into open field like that. However when we do we are self proclaimed experts at the wide and expansive side of the game. I will certainly keep dreaming the dream of playing a role of a 11 or 14. Other than that I'll stick to the scrummage and the pick and go.

  • No matter what you think of props as skilled or un-skilled players never anger them as they never forget and have the toughest position on the team.Every great team is built around the front row most noteably the tight head prop.Any decent coach will agree and say without a proper tight head prop a team is most likely beaten before the game starts. As advice goes if you want to tackle a prop 2nd row or basically any bigger player.Go in low hard and fast and back yourself 100%.

  • As a centre, I must have screwed something up for my fullback to come head-on with a prop. My advise to the fullback - Pull off a no armed spear tackle and take a straight red on the chin, then buy the prop a pint after the game for being a bastard earlier on.

  • My advice is, as a prop myself, when i go on my runs to go over the line, when someone is going to try tackle you, dont move and keep running at pace. Were big bad probs that can take 2 or 3 people and take them over the line and score our try. If you know that u might not make it, if their coming from the side, get that cheeky little hand off that pushes them to the side, but remember. Keep Strong.

  • my piece of advice is teamwork dont be a gloryboy its a team effort and also note that the back row (flankers/ no8) are allways good for getting the ball back somehow and the no8 makes a powerful team player in the centers

  • A second row forward makes a great 3rd center!
