Try solar cooking your turkey next year. Practce cooking chickens and you would be amazed at how great they taste. I tried using a pressure cooker it worked it was good but the electric oven is a better method for better flavor only if you keep a piece of foil on the breast area during the cooking. Take the foil off the last 30 min cooking to brown the outer flesh.

You can also bake acorn squash (cut in half - scoop out seeds) and than add some butter and maple syrup...cook at around 350 for 45 minutes or so...delish! Happy Thanksgiving to the you!

You know, i would normally suggest a brown and bake bag to cook your turkey in, but after hearing about your fryer i'm a little afraid of what could happen.
Why not just set your phaser on low and heat up some rocks?
