You obviously have no idea how such trainings are performed. This captain wasn't aware that he is being tested and this part of the training was for real.
Even if that was true, then captain is one fucking idiot, anyway, narrator tells us, they expected everything, but arab businessman. So, intelligence knew somebody will try sabotage their ship, they even knew exact day this will happen and still they didn't expect it from some random visitor? Ok, believe whatever you want to believe. Do you really think same would happen in any western country? Wow... If situation like this can happen at all, then it's only going to happen in Russia :D

Thank you for information :) I said its still operational after reading the article on wiki (gues they're reliable source ;)) here's the part of it "Vympel (i.e. the Directorate "V" of the TsSN FSB) is still a classified and secretive unit. Little is known about its current operations and activities, the exception being the capture of the Chechen terrorist and rebel leader Salman Raduev in March 2000.
