I have to disagree with one thing out of this whole interview. I think there is such thing as too much wrestling. Not in terms of actual wrestling vs promos, but in terms of the scheduling of 300 shows a year more than a dozen ppv's etc... They have to take it easy on these guys, they are human beings whether they will directly admit it or not the shows in one year (especially live events) need to be overhauled.

The WWE is public trading company. They have to publish their PPV buyrate numbers for investors.
The first reported PPV buyrate for MiTB '11 including uncounted buyrates from WM 27. Once you take out the WM numbers, the buyrate for MiTB '11 was LOWER than MiTB '10.
Since Punk's main-eventer push, Vince McMahon's estimated net worth went from $1 BILLION to $400 MILLION.
In Punk's promo, Punk even promised Vince he would make him a multi-billionaire too! LOL

@30lays Those statistics from IWC sites are wrong anyway. But don't they also say something about Cena? Yeah, it looks he's a big draw, isn't he? Oh wait, he's not anymore. It came to the point where WWE is irrelevant, providing a happy go lucky program with Super Cena in the top, which is how they went from 13 million weekly viewers to 4 million, 7's and 8 ratings to 3, stocks up to 1 billion to $400 million. You gotta love Cena.

@sorcero12 The problem is that the WWE at the moment is a less entertaining product than it was during say, the Attitude Era (that and wrestling was generally more popular back then). Once guys like Austin and The Rock left the company, someone had to fill their shoes, and while Cena and Orton haven't quite succeeded (how could they?), they've made a good effort. I'd much rather see "Super" Cena main-eventing than someone like Zack Ryder. Bear in mind that I'm a fan of both Punk and Cena.
